The Role
About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Product Manager to join the Alternative Investments Team with Wealth and Investment Management (WIM). Learn more about career areas and lines of business at wellsfargojobs.com.
In this role, you will:
  • Support the expansion of the alternative investments platform by leading fund launch efforts across private equity, private credit, private real assets, and hedge fund offerings.
  • Deliver reporting and insights for financial advisors to support the broader product platform.
  • Contribute to marketing, education, and communication initiatives for investment products targeted at financial professionals and internal staff.
  • Assist in maintaining and offboarding investment products and service providers, ensuring smooth transitions and operational continuity.
  • Help manage risk controls and monitor product portfolios to ensure alignment with platform standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide hands-on product management for hedge funds, and private capital funds, including onboarding, maintenance, and lifecycle oversight.
  • Develop educational materials and respond to ad-hoc sales and product support requests from internal stakeholders.
  • Generate reports and analysis on various aspects of the alternative investment business to inform strategy and decision-making.
Required Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of Product Management experience, product development experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • A BS/BA degree or higher in business administration, economics, accounting, finance, or another business-related field
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects / tasks simultaneously and prioritize accordingly.
  • Basic knowledge of private capital investments, hedge funds and other alternative investments
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong, clear and concise written and oral communication skills
  • Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office products (PowerPoint, Word)
