What We Need
We’re looking for an execution-focused, hands-on Product Manager to drive outcomes for our Equip line of business. This role reports to the Equip Product Lead and sits at the intersection of discovery and delivery. You’ll collaborate closely with engineering (a combined onshore and offshore team), operations, and business stakeholders to define problems, ship solutions, and measure impact in a growing and evolving area of the business.
Equip is a fast-growing line of business focused on radically improving the durable medical equipment (DME) experience in post-acute care settings such as hospice and long-term care. Through technology-driven solutions and strategic partnerships, Equip is modernizing care delivery, streamlining operations, and expanding access to high-quality services.
This is a great opportunity to help guide a well-established business line through its next phase of growth—shaping the roadmap for your areas, improving the user experience, and contributing to meaningful outcomes, with room to grow as the strategy evolves.
What You Will Do
- Own problem discovery for your areas. Engage users and internal partners to clarify problems, map workflows, and define success metrics.
- Write clear requirements. Translate insights into PRDs, epics, user stories, with clear acceptance criteria; keep scope well-defined and testable.
- Partner closely with engineering. Help groom and prioritize backlogs, align on tradeoffs, support delivery, and validate work against requirements.
- Launch and learn. Coordinate go-to-market with the team and external partners, create release notes and training, and run structured post-launch reviews.
- Measure what matters. Define KPIs, drive requirements for instrumentation (analytics/RUM) with analytics and engineering, and use data to iterate.
- Triage and improve. Help manage incident/defect intake, clarify severity/impact, and collaborate on durable fixes and process improvements.
- Communicate clearly. Provide concise status, surface risks/decisions early, and keep stakeholders aligned.
What You Have
At Synapse Health we’ve intentionally built a culture of kindness, collaboration and creativity, and we consider those qualities to be table stakes for any new team member. Additional requirements include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology Management, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in product management. Healthcare or healh tech experience is a plus; DME or hospice experience is especially valuable.
- Comfortable working with internal stakeholders, running discovery, and writing requirements; experience partnering with geographically distributed and offshore engineering teams in a remote environment.
- Data-literate—able to define KPIs, read dashboards/queries, and make evidence-backed decisions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, strong organization, and collaborative working style; low-ego, team-first mindset.
- Hands-on requirements owner who gathers and documents needs, understands intent, and writes high-quality epics and user stories with clear acceptance criteria and edge cases; maintains backlog hygiene and ensures traceability from goals to releases.
What Sets You Apart
- Experience in integrating with EHRs or other clinical/claims systems.
- Familiarity with applying AI/automation to streamline documentation or workflows.
- Understanding of HIPAA/PHI considerations in product design and operations.
- Hands-on experience improving performance and user experience through analytics and/or Real User Monitoring.
- Comfortable with tools like Jira/Confluence and common analytics platforms.

What We Do
At Synapse Health, we’re on a mission to transform the Durable Medical Equipment (DME) industry with innovative solutions that improve experience, accountability and transparency for all.
Synapse Health is a patient-focused, end-to-end technology-enabled solution that streamlines the entire DME process. We connect all the dots from the time an order is placed to the moment it is delivered to the patient (including administrative tasks like billing). We act as a catalyst for change across the DME ecosystem by connecting patients, prescribers, DME providers and payors, providing a seamless, efficient and positive experience.
Our solutions work in the background to manage every aspect of the DME process, providing real-time, accurate clinical and order information. This allows us to address patient needs faster and ensures orders are accurate and cost-effective. By improving accountability and transparency for all stakeholders, we are enhancing the overall experience. Together with our DME provider and prescriber partners, we provide patients with what they need, when and where they need it, simplifying the process and delivering better outcomes for everyone involved.
Why Work With Us
Our culture is built on a person-first mindset, starting with how we treat our team members and extending to the care we provide. We focus on fostering a warm, supportive environment that values each individual. Our mission-driven approach encourages transformation in healthcare, ensuring patients experience genuine, compassionate care.
