Summary Generated by Built In

Hi. I’m Ron, Eon’s CTO and Co-founder.

I’ll be direct: Eon is at the most crucial moment in its journey, and we need outstanding product managers to help bring this company to the next stage. We’ve built a cloud-native backup and recovery platform for enterprises running across multi-cloud environments, and we’ve done what no one else has managed to do: make backups actually useful. Eon turns backup data into a strategic asset, with visibility, control, and usability across the board. We’re trusted by global enterprises, and we’re building a once-in-a-generation company.

In other words: NOW is the time to join us.

About the Role

I'm looking for Eon's first Product Managers. Yes, you read that right. We've been founder and engineer-led until now, and it's worked because we've built quickly, solved real problems, and landed massive customers. This unique approach has been our strength, and now we are presented with an incredible opportunity; you'll be central in defining how this role will look in the company’s future. You'll be stepping into a role with huge impact, helping define how we scale at Eon, create alignment (but not bureaucracy), and ensure we continue to deliver products that enterprises can't live without.

What You’ll Do
  • Work directly with me, the other founders, the sales organization and engineers to set priorities and shape the product roadmap.
  • Build direct relationships with Fortune 500 companies to understand their evolving infrastructure challenges.
  • Translate customer needs into clear, actionable product requirements.
  • Bring innovation and creativity to the position - we're looking for fresh approaches, not cookie-cutter PM playbooks.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment between R&D, sales, and customer success teams to ensure seamless product delivery.
  • Define what product management looks like at Eon - you'll literally create the blueprint for how we scale.
Who You AreMust-Haves
  • You’ve led products in enterprise software, cloud, or infrastructure companies.
  • You’re comfortable working directly with senior engineers and technical founders.
  • You thrive when there’s no playbook and know how to create clarity out of data.
  • You move quickly, collaborate well, and own your responsibilities.
  • You are extremely technical.
  • You’re hyper-motivated to build something epic.
Nice-to-Haves
  • Experience in data protection, backup/recovery, or cloud-native platforms.
  • Familiarity with multi-cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Background working in high-growth startups where PMs had to wear multiple hats.
Why Join Us?

Eon is the fastest growing startup in cloud infrastructure and cyber security. We are extremely well-funded, trusted by the biggest players in the industry. But we’re also lean, agile, and flat. You’ll work directly with me and be part of the founding team, shape product direction, and see your work change the trajectory of enterprises around the world. We demand a lot because what we’re building is big.

We take care of our people, and we make sure your journey here will be enjoyable and worth the ride.

If you’re ready to be part of an incredible team and do the best work of your career, now’s  the time to apply, even if your experience doesn’t tick every box.

What We Do

Eon is a next-generation cloud backup solution that introduces the first backup autopilot for cloud infrastructure. Our platform empowers organizations with cloud backup posture management (CBPM), transforming traditional, hard-to-use cloud backups into valuable assets.

Backed by Sequoia Capital, Lightspeed Venture Partners, Greenoaks and BOND, among other prominent investors, Eon is led by the team that founded CloudEndure (Cloud Disaster Recovery and Migration startup, acquired by AWS), and built two native AWS services: AWS Elastic Disaster Recovery, and AWS Application Migration Service, supporting the world's largest enterprises
