The Role

At ShiftKey, we empower product teams to tackle complex customer and business challenges in ways that resonate with our users and align with our business objectives. Our product teams are resilient, cross-functional, and empowered, equipped with the skills to deliver valuable solutions that address real customer needs, are viable within business constraints, and usable with intuitive adoption pathways.
As a Senior Product Manager - Onboarding and Activation, you will own the strategy and execution for how professionals join, verify, and succeed in our healthcare marketplace. You’ll build seamless, scalable onboarding and activation experiences that reduce friction, improve trust, and accelerate supply growth across the platform. This role requires a product leader with strong growth instincts - someone who understands funnels, conversion, and acquisition levers, and can partner closely with Marketing and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver measurable business outcomes. You’ll be accountable for driving supply growth, adoption, and trust by ensuring clinicians can onboard quickly and compliantly while facilities have confidence in their credentials.

Where you'll work

To be considered for this position, you must be located in the United States. You can choose between remote work and working from one of our offices in Austin, Dallas, or Cleveland. Occasional travel to one of these offices may be required for in-person collaboration, team events, or strategic planning sessions.

What you’ll be doing

  • Own and communicate the onboarding and activation roadmap, partnering with the Credentialing Product Lead to ensure alignment with compliance requirements.

  • Lead continuous discovery with clinicians and operations teams to uncover friction in onboarding, credentialing, and verification workflows.

  • Design and optimize onboarding funnels to create a seamless path from acquisition through activation.

  • Streamline credentialing handoffs to improve conversion rates and reduce drop-offs.

  • Partner with Marketing to align product initiatives with acquisition strategies, ensuring a seamless journey from awareness to activation.

  • Collaborate with engineering, design, legal, and compliance to ensure smooth integration with credentialing workflows.

  • Leverage data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities - not just reporting on metrics, but proactively investigating the “why” behind changes in supply flow or conversion.

  • Run experiments to validate and scale funnel improvements across onboarding and activation.

  • Deliver measurable outcomes, demonstrating impact on clinician acquisition, activation rates, and supply growth for the marketplace.

What you’ll need

  • 5+ years of product management experience, with proven success in growth-focused roles within marketplace or B2C environments.

  • Experience optimizing user journeys and funnels in fast-paced, high-growth environments.

  • Proven experience partnering with Marketing and Go-to-Market teams to align product and acquisition strategies.

  • Highly data-driven mindset - able to independently dig into data, investigate anomalies, and uncover insights to guide decisions.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to align leadership, cross-functional partners, and customer-facing teams.

  • Evidence of being a self-starter who can identify problems, own them, and deliver solutions that move the business forward.

Perks of working at Shiftkey

  • Inclusive and collaborative work environment where all voices are valued.

  • Hybrid-friendly office spaces designed to be fun and engaging.

  • Comprehensive health, vision, and dental coverage.

  • Benefits begin on your first day.

  • Generous PTO and company-paid holidays, including flexible floating holidays.

  • 100% 401(k) employer match up to 6%.

  • Paid parental leave.

  • Wellness support, including access to mental health resources.
