Role at a glance:
We are seeking an emerging Product Manager to support our Paystand product connections with our customers ERPs - creating a source of truth for information as we apply payment transactions. In this role, you will become the SME for the midmarket ERPs we support: understanding the best practices and applications for us to maintain data integrity across our payment system and the customers’ accounting source of truth. Your responsibilities will include aligning the feature delivery of our ERP connectors with enhancements in our core products and developing a product strategy to scale our ERP integrations to include additional ecosystems. The ideal candidate has a background in ERPs, accounting, or FinTech and possesses technical acumen, thrives in a dynamic environment, and excels in communication and collaboration.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for a subset of ERP systems, developing deep knowledge of their data models, workflows, and integration patterns.
- Partner with a Senior Product Managers to shape and execute the ERP integrations roadmap, balancing short-term delivery with long-term scalability.
- Analyze ERP best practices and customer usage patterns to identify opportunities for workflow enhancements and product optimization.
- Define and document product requirements that support scalable, reusable integration frameworks across multiple ERP systems.
- Develop and propose a technical strategy to scale ERP integrations by 10x, in collaboration with engineering, architecture, and platform teams.
- Act as a cross-functional leader, aligning roadmap priorities with input from sales, support, implementation, and customer success teams.
- Prioritize feature delivery based on impact, effort, and alignment with business goals, ensuring the greatest value for customers and internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with go-to-market teams to ensure readiness for new ERP features and provide enablement resources to drive adoption.
- Track and report on integration performance, customer satisfaction, and support impact, using data to inform future development priorities.
- Stay current on ERP ecosystem changes and trends to proactively guide product direction and customer communications.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- You are a person who thrives in a fast moving environment with a heavy dose of ambiguity
- You have an understanding of ERP or accounting software processes
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and strategic thinking skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent cross collaboration skills with both internal and external partners
- A deep interest in UI/UX design and a passion for building delightful end-user experiences working closely with product designers
- Prior experience with cloud-native stacks and SaaS platforms is a plus
- Have an understanding of Fintech or accounting
