About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Product Manager within the Investment Product group that exists in The Investment Solutions Center of Excellence in the Wealth Investment Management division.
In this role, you will:
- Strategize marketing based on assessment of results-based environment and new opportunities for product implementation and enhancements
- Review and analyze development of new products and product lines
- Provide support for product life cycle management
- Review global market dynamics, trends, regulatory impact, and risk management
- Present recommendations to resolve more complex situations and exercise independent judgment
- Develop, implement and maintain products, services and marketing programs
- Adhere to compliance and privacy regulations and policies
- Collaborate and consult with project teams, internal partners and stakeholders, including vendors and third parties
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of Product Management experience, product development experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- Knowledge and understanding of Investment Products
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint)
- Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities
- A Masters of Business Administration (MBA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), or comparable professional designation
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Knowledge and understanding of investment research, portfolio analysis or quantitative finance
- Knowledge and understanding of Investment tools such as Bloomberg or Factset application
- Solid critical thinking skills
- Ability to convert raw data into presentation format
- Assist in the production and delivery of data and other information in support of Internal Testing & Validation, Audit or other internal requests.
- Perform or assist in the administration of operational controls designed to support investment products and services.
- Support the marketing, education, and communication efforts of investment products for financial professionals and home office staff.
- Assist product management with ongoing activities tied to the System for Third-Party Operational Risk Management.
- Assist in the production of metrics for investment products, services, and activities.
- Assist in the approval, onboarding, maintenance, and offboarding of investment products, investment product or service providers, and qualified advisors.
- Perform quality assurance activities.
