The role involves acting as a specialist within a specific product family, or managing activities across multiple products, including market research, promotional development, event management, and sales training.

  • Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute annual marketing plans to achieve business objectives.

- Lead coordination among internal functions, such as Marketing Communications (MarCom), Finance, Clinical, Quality, Regulatory, and Supply Chain, ensuring alignment with product-specific goals.

- Manage major events such as annual conferences of prominent Japanese medical societies and Cardinal Health-sponsored seminars.

- Utilize customer relationships, technical expertise, and product knowledge to plan product launches and provide effective messaging, campaigns, and tools for the sales team.

- Localize promotional tools provided by Global Marketing and oversee localized training for launches.

- Train sales and clinical staff on product usage, clinical knowledge, and promotional strategies, ensuring alignment with customer needs and expectations.

- Stay updated on industry publications, clinical trials, guidelines, and market dynamics, and incorporate these into communication and marketing strategies.

- Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with key customer accounts and market influencers.

  • Education & Experience Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in relevant fields.

- At least 3 years of work experience in the medical industry.

- Business-level proficiency in both Japanese and English (TOEIC score of 800+ preferred).
