The role
We are seeking our first Product Owner to evolve our product development process, while ensuring alignment with broader company goals. You will be responsible for defining the vision, refining the strategy and designing the product roadmap across our suite of AI solutions.
Reporting to the Product Manager, you will communicate with stakeholders on anything product related, including progress, obstacles, and deliverables. Through collaboration with engineering teams, customers and others, you will ensure products address customer expectations, requirements and satisfaction. This position and its impact will greatly benefit from someone who is a self starter, and is motivated by innovation and optimization.
What you’ll do

  • Collaborate with prospective users and customers to anticipate expectations, understand requirements, and business value for system features 
  • Define and own the overall product vision, strategy and roadmap with involvement from relevant stakeholders to ensure alignment and feasibility
  • Gather and synthesize product requirements into business insights and user stories
  • Manage the product backlog to ensure ongoing; prioritization, refinement, and maintenance, based on business needs, technical feasibility and business value 
  • Identify and track potential risks or challenges that may impact success and work collaboratively to mitigate them and proactively whenever possible 
  • Communicate progress, updates and changes to stakeholders in a timely manner 
  • Serve as the primary liaison between technical teams and end users 
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitive landscape, providing insights to the the relevant teams

What you’ll bring

  • 3+ years of experience collecting, analyzing and presenting data with a keen sense of detail and precision 
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or related field
  • 1+ years of product management experience, gathering customer requirements, writing product spec, working with development teams and participating in sprint planning meetings
  • Experience with Agile methodology and, Jira or similar, to; organize, scope and track product requirements and progress 
  • Adaptable communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present data to a range of stakeholders 
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Self-motivated and driven to succeed, with a passion for innovation and technology

Preferred 

  • Familiarity with AI technologies and concepts
  • Knowledge of data governance and security compliance?
  • Experience or relevant knowledge from the QSR / restaurant industry
