The Role

Role Summary 

As a Product Owner at Kinesso, you will work closely with product and development teams to ensure the delivery and success of new products and features. You will be part of the Product Team, responsible for collecting, understanding, refining, and prioritizing product requirements. Your role includes translating the product vision into actionable tasks, managing the backlog, and ensuring the successful implementation of new features. 

Collaboration is key in this role. You will work closely with stakeholders, design teams, and development teams to design, build, test, and review products. Your goal is to ensure that development projects are delivered on time and meet the high standards expected by the company. Before and after the release of a new feature, you will gather input from stakeholders and end users to ensure the product meets their needs. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Responsible for product delivery 
  • Partner on the overall vision to ensure it encompasses both customer-facing functionalities and technical innovations. 
  • Write Jira stories for development, write acceptance criteria, prioritize user stories, and balance internal and external demands with available resources. 
  • Translate feedback from stakeholders, design, development, and end users into actionable items for development teams. 
  • Maintain the hygiene of the product backlog. 
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, research and design teams, and development teams to ensure high-quality product delivery. 
  • Communicate planning and timelines with stakeholders. 

  

Desired Skills & Experience: 

  • Hands-on experience leading/managing agile product development as a product owner, with aspirations of eventually advancing to Product Management. 
  • Wanting to deliver data-driven solutions with a customer-first mindset. 
  • Understand data and the ability to use data to inform decision-making and prioritization. 
  • Basic knowledge or interest in advertising on platforms like Google, Facebook, Instagram, and other Search and Social platforms. 
  • Interest in AI and Machine Learning trends and advancements.
  • Knowledge of BI, SQL, and data architecture will be incredibly helpful in this role.
  • Self-driven, motivated, and purpose-led individual with the ability to rally a dev team under tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate technical requirements into a backlog for development teams. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. 
  • Adaptable to a fast-paced work environment and flexible to work outside of business hours.
