What’s the Opportunity:

As a Product Manager, you'll report to the COO and hold a key role in our organization, with ample chances to directly influence and boost the success of our core apps. Develop and articulate a clear, compelling vision for the product that aligns with the company's overall strategic goals. Ensure that the vision is communicated effectively across all levels of the organization, from the executive team to individual contributors.

What you'll do:

  • Product and Platform Strategy: Develop a comprehensive and forward-thinking product strategy for the Ecommerce SaaS platform, aligned with the company's vision and market trends.
  • Identify opportunities for differentiation and competitive advantage. Improve and manage existing products or define / launch new platforms.
  •  Provide clear and technical direction to developers, designers, and QA engineers, ensuring the successful execution of features on time and within scope.
  • Roadmap Planning: Create and maintain a product roadmap that outlines the timeline and prioritization of features, improvements, and upgrades and communicate the roadmap effectively across the organization.
  • Feature Development: Lead cross-functional teams through the entire product development lifecycle, from concept to launch. 
  • Requirements Gathering: Collaborate closely with stakeholders, clients, and internal teams to gather and prioritize requirements. Translate customer needs and business goals into clear and actionable product specifications to make informed product decisions. 
  • Monitor key performance metrics and iterate on features to optimize performance and user satisfaction
  • Market Research: Stay attuned to the Ecommerce industry landscape and analyze competitor offerings, market trends, and customer feedback to identify new features, enhancements, and potential areas of growth.
  • User-Centric Design: Champion user-centered design principles to create intuitive, user-friendly, and impactful features. Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to continuously enhance the user experience.
  • Product Launch: Coordinate the successful launch of new features or enhancements, collaborating with marketing, sales, and customer support teams to ensure a seamless introduction to the market.
  • Documentation and Training: Create comprehensive product documentation, success.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and transparent communication channels with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders, providing updates on product developments, milestones, and challenges.

What you'll need:

  • Over 5 years of relevant software product management experience for this role, with a track record of managing teams.
  • Extensive experience managing high-performing product organizations at the "managing managers" level
  • Proficient oversight of a broad product scopeA strong interest in adhering to best practices within software teams and providing coaching. While your primary role is as a PM, you also find joy in delving into the latest developments in DevSecOps.
  • Interest in shaping and directing product strategies, with a focus on both people and operational aspects of product design leadership
  • Ability to provide honest and constructive feedback, fostering professional growth within the teamGenuine enthusiasm for software products, particularly emerging technologies like AI, with articulate communication on their functionality
  • Comfort and proficiency in business and strategic dimensions, actively driving measurable business growth.
