Our Company
Changing the world through digital experiences is what Adobe’s all about. We give everyone—from emerging artists to global brands—everything they need to design and deliver exceptional digital experiences! We’re passionate about empowering people to create beautiful and powerful images, videos, and apps, and transform how companies interact with customers across every screen.
We’re on a mission to hire the very best and are committed to creating exceptional employee experiences where everyone is respected and has access to equal opportunity. We realize that new ideas can come from everywhere in the organization, and we know the next big idea could be yours!

The Opportunity

The Fonts and Type team provides thousands of fonts to customers through Creative Cloud and Document Cloud subscriptions, enabling text and font workflows for all users who design with text in Adobe apps. Our charter, to empower people to express themselves through good typography, has been at Adobe’s core for over 40 years. We aim to accelerate this vision in the coming year through typographic intelligence, focusing on saving people time and helping them become better visual communicators by massively simplifying the complexities of typography.

You’ll join product managers focused on all areas of type – a library of 30,000 fonts, nearly a dozen APIs and services, a website with almost 4 million unique monthly sessions, a text engine used in most of Adobe’s design apps, and an in-app component that allows users to browse our expansive font library, including in-context recommendations. Your focus will be on typographic intelligence, a key area aimed at fundamentally evolving and enhancing how people design with text.

What You'll Do

  • Identify Opportunities: Leverage data, customer research, and Adobe’s business goals to identify new opportunities. Define use cases and product requirements for innovative features, collaborating closely with engineering and design teams to bring these solutions to life.
  • Integrate Generative AI: Explore and implement generative AI technologies to create advanced typographic solutions, such as generative lettering, that enhance user creativity and streamline design processes.
  • Drive Roadmap: Take ownership of a 6–9-month technical product roadmap, focusing on driving performance, enhancing user experience, and meeting design requirements.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work with other Adobe product teams to ensure cohesive and integrated product development.
  • Measure Success: Use metrics related to user impact, competitive advantage, and business goals to communicate and celebrate successes.

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • Significant product management experience, with a proven track record of driving initiatives from conception to completion.
  • Background in the technical aspects of Design, with a preference for expertise in Typography. · Familiarity with Generative AI systems and ideas on how those systems could shape future design systems.
  • A bachelor’s degree is required; an MBA or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to form and maintain close relationships with distributed teams.
  • Proactive and driven to create new cross-team alignment and communication processes.
  • Excitement to join a team that values the craft of typography, supports designers and foundries, and supports the broader font/type community. Bonus points for experience with fonts, font management, and/or design tools.
