Your opportunity

Interested in building the core demo platform that powers the Growth, GTM, Product, and Sales teams at NewRelic?

We are seeking a Product Manager who is passionate about building web-based data products and sourcing concrete insights to build the demo platform and data patterns that will enable the entire company to demo, market, and test NewRelic. We are a fast-growing demo engineering team building an internal-facing product with a bold, ambitious vision to build the foundation needed to highlight an observability platform.

You know how to work with engineers, marketing and executives, and have a good sense of when to gather more data and when to make a decision and move forward. If you haven't been a product manager, maybe you've done similar work as an architect, engineering leader, or in another leadership role.

What you'll do

  • Drive the product strategy for internal managed services, advised by internal customers, industry standards, technical capability, and internal initiatives.
  • Connect with our customers (Product, GTM, Sales, Marketing teams at New Relic) about their challenges and use this information to determine how Demo Engineering can provide a frictionless experience to help them achieve their goals.
  • Work with teams to provide business context, clear guidance, and success criteria that will delight our customers.
  • In collaboration with Engineering, develop a rolling 4-quarter roadmap, drive the alignment of key releases to deliver on the roadmap; adjust the roadmap as needed based on key results, customer demand, and changes in execution resources.

This role requires

  • 2+ years as a Product Manager or Technical Product Manager.
  • Experience working with customers to set the roadmap and strategic direction of internal infrastructure products like container orchestration tooling, managed cloud services, load balancing, networking, build and deploy tools, etc.
  • Experience in large-scale environments, preferably as part of a SaaS platform.
  • Ability to communicate effectively to different audiences both verbally and in writing.
  • Excellent analytical/problem-solving skills and track record of using data to drive decisions.
