A Day in the LifeTo support the Medtronic vision to lead and disrupt the EP market in cardiac mapping and ablation solutions for arrythmia management; we are currently looking for an energetic, dynamic and creative marketeer to help us implement strategic marketing initiatives for the Cardiac Ablation Solutions portfolio.This will be a Western European role so you will have the opportunity to immerse in different markets, great exposure to KOLs across the region and the chance to make an impact in shaping the future of electrophysiology.
This is a strategic role and would be an excellent fit for a highly collaborative, people-oriented marketeer who is looking for a fresh challenge with a truly differentiated and high-profile product.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Own the strategic marketing plan within the Cardiac Ablation Solutions portfolio, positioning Medtronic as a leader in the EP market through bold vision, cross-functional alignment, and execution excellence.
- Act as a key strategic interface between global, regional, and country stakeholders, simplifying complexity and ensuring strong alignment across marketing, sales, T&E, clinical, and operational teams.
- Translate customer insights and market trends into actionable strategies—defining segmentation, product positioning, and messaging that drives adoption and differentiation.
- Build and lead KOL engagement plans, foster clinical community building, and drive market excitement around the Cardiac Ablation Solutions portfolio.
- Serve as the product champion, internally and externally, and the primary expert on the technology, competitive landscape, and customer needs.
- Partner with field teams to develop impactful campaigns and sales enablement tools, ensuring consistent and compelling communication of value across touchpoints.
- Collaborate with Training & Education to support field readiness and rollout, leveraging digital and live formats to engage and equip commercial and technical teams .
- Demonstrate strong organizational leadership—removing barriers, driving clarity, and structuring scalable solutions.
- Be ready to mentor others, lead projects, and model Medtronic’s culture of innovation, inclusion, and execution.
Required knowledge and experience
- Bachelors/Masters in Marketing, Engineering, Life Sciences or business degree required
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in marketing
- Marketing experience from the medical device field, preferably in cardiac rhythm management and/or Electrophysiology (EP)
- Self-starter with strong track record of project execution
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment, under pressure, capable of maintaining a positive, enthusiastic attitude. Ability to clearly communicate marketing strategy and tactical plans, lead and collaborate with cross-functional partners, prioritize high impact activities, and keep complex projects moving forward while also quickly developing relationships and rapport with individuals at all levels and from all cultures
- Data analytics aimed at rendering meaningful insights from raw data, as well understanding rapidly clinical/technical aspects of the job
- Fluency in English, additional European languages are a plus, with ability to travel for 30-50% of working time
