The Product Manager owns the strategy, roadmap, prioritization, and lifecycle management for a portfolio of enterprise applications that includes both custom-developed solutions and third-party SaaS or packaged products. Stakeholder Partnership and Discovery: Engage business users and leaders to understand workflows, pain points, opportunities, and success measures. Translate insights into clear, actionable requirements and product decisions.
Portfolio and Backlog Management: Own and prioritize the product backlog using business value, risk, effort, dependencies, and strategic alignment. Ensure planned work is sufficiently refined for delivery teams and stakeholders have transparent visibility into priorities.
Custom Application Delivery: Work closely with internal development, QA, architecture, and delivery teams throughout discovery, design, development, testing, release, and adoption. Provide timely decisions and clarifications during Agile ceremonies.
Third-Party Application Management: Lead the business and product relationship for third-party applications, including vendor coordination, release-impact assessment, roadmap alignment, support escalation, and evaluation of configuration or enhancement opportunities.
Requirements and Product Artifacts: Create and maintain product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, user experience mock-ups, release communications, and other artifacts needed to align delivery and business teams.
Operational Ownership: Partner with production support and vendors to monitor service health, triage issues, communicate business impact, and prioritize corrective work. Help ensure a disciplined transition from delivery to sustainable support.
Validation and Adoption: Plan and coordinate user acceptance testing, gather feedback, validate outcomes, and support rollout readiness, training, and adoption activities.
