About the role

As a Product Manager, you'll be responsible for identifying customer needs, shaping product priorities, and working with cross-functional teams to deliver valuable product outcomes.

You'll work closely with Engineering, Design, Customer Success, Sales, and other stakeholders to define requirements, prioritise opportunities, and ensure product decisions are informed by customer insight, business objectives, and market trends.

This opportunity is offered on a contractor basis. The successful individual will provide services as an independent contractor and will not be employed by Everway.

Main responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Define and prioritise product requirements based on customer feedback, market insight, and business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain product roadmaps aligned with organisational priorities.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and inform product decisions.
  • Monitor product performance, KPIs, and customer outcomes to support continuous improvement.
  • Define product features and user stories and ensure requirements are clearly documented and understood.
  • Partner with Engineering teams to maintain a prioritised product backlog.
  • Support continuous improvement of product management practices and ways of working.
  • Be accountable for delivering agreed product improvements in alignment with business priorities.
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Design, Marketing, and Sales teams to ensure shared understanding of requirements and priorities.
  • Gather and incorporate stakeholder and customer feedback into product planning and decision-making.
  • Create product communications and supporting materials for internal and external audiences.
Essential criteria
  • 3+ years of product management experience within software, SaaS, or a related environment.
  • Experience working within Agile product development environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to define, prioritise, and manage product requirements and roadmaps.
  • Experience using customer insight, research, and data to inform product decisions.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and influence stakeholders across functions.
  • Demonstrated analytical thinking and data-driven decision-making.
  • Experience using AI-enabled tools to support product discovery, validation, analysis, or workflow efficiency.
  • Communicates clearly and effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Desirable criteria
  • Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline.
  • Experience working in a growth-stage or scaling technology business.
  • Experience applying user-centred design principles and collaborating closely with UX teams.
  • Familiarity with product marketing and go-to-market processes.
  • Experience working with product management and collaboration tools.
