Go further, faster, with Rho. Take charge of business finances with Rho’s automated spend and cash management platform.
The Role
Own an end-to-end product surface like a founder: discover customer problems, prototype (especially with AI), prioritize and ship iteratively, partner with design/engineering/ops/GTM, and measure impact to drive decisions and pivots.

About Us

Rho is the modern banking platform built for startups. Open accounts in minutes, issue cards, manage expenses, pay bills, and close the books – all in one connected platform backed by real human support.

The Role

Rho is hiring Product Managers, but what we truly seek are GMs/Product CEOs. You'll own a meaningful surface of the platform end-to-end — close enough to the work and close enough to the customer that your judgment is earned, not inherited from a roadmap. You'll know what founders need before they ask, because you've built the intuition that comes from proximity, not process.

How products get built is fundamentally changing. AI is collapsing the line between thinking about something and making it real. The best PMs right now aren't just writing specs — they're prototyping with frontier models, testing ideas the same afternoon they have them, and building product that couldn't have existed a year ago. If that's already how you work, keep reading.

Rho is rebuilding the finance stack for the innovation economy. What happens next depends on the quality of our decisions and the speed at which we make them. The PMs we hire are how we get there.

What You'll Do

Operate like a founder. Your surface is your company: its metrics are your P&L, its problems are yours whether or not they're in your job description. Nobody assigns founders their work. Default to motion — ship the scrappy version, learn, ship again, and unblock yourself instead of waiting. The surfaces you touch move faster because you're on them.

And build for them. Develop a deep, almost unfair understanding of how early-stage companies think about money, time, and risk. Design for the workflow they don't know they want yet — the desire path, not the paved one.

Own a problem space, not a problem. Not a feature, not a ticket queue — a living territory of customer problems that shift and collide. Frame the ones that matter, sharpen the hypothesis, define success before you build, and see it through to landing in a founder's hands. The map will change under you; redraw it and keep moving.

Decide what matters most — and re-decide when the facts change. Make deliberate calls about what to do now, next, and never. Hold them loosely: when the evidence says pivot, you pivot without ego. A PM who can't say no is just a project manager with better slides.

Work at the frontier. AI is your leverage in both directions: it 10x's how you work — more ideas tested, more prototypes built, more customer insight absorbed, more shipped — and it expands what you can build, product experiences that weren't possible twelve months ago. You're expected to find both. When a new capability drops, you're the one asking what it unlocks for our customers.

Get in the weeds. You're prototyping, pressure-testing, and iterating alongside design and engineering — with opinions about the details. Bring people along while you're there: partner deeply across Engineering, Design, Operations, GTM, and leadership, and communicate the why so well the team could make your calls without you in the room.

Who You Are
  • You have 3+ years of product management or equivalent experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment — and you've shipped work you're proud to put your name on.

  • You have frontier fluency. You work with AI daily — prototyping, analyzing, drafting, automating — and you can point to something you shipped or changed because a new capability made it possible. Not theorizing; doing.

  • You have taste. You hold your own view of what good looks like, obsess over the details, and know that in a banking product, every interaction carries trust.

  • You have discovery rigor. You can articulate the problem, the hypothesis, and how you'll know it worked before you've written a spec.

  • You build. You're not above opening a prototype, sketching a flow, or pulling the data yourself.

  • You think like a founder. You've been one, worked next to one, or operated like one — you take ownership past the edges of your role, and you pull things over the line that would die in someone else's backlog.

  • You're at home in ambiguity. You make calls on incomplete information and treat a pivot as new information, not a setback. Plans change; you're the steady one when they do.

  • You bring people with you. You build trust quickly, communicate proactively, and can align a room even when the answer is no.

  • You crave a team that pushes you — smart, ambitious people who make the work fun and help you grow faster than you thought possible.

Our people are our most valuable asset. Our target compensation range for this role is $165,000 - $320,000. Compensation will be determined by leveling and performance throughout the interview process. In addition to base pay, Rho offers equity, comprehensive healthcare benefits, and paid time off.

Skills Required

  • 3+ years of product management or equivalent experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and shipped notable work.
  • Daily, hands-on experience prototyping and shipping with frontier AI models and capabilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to discover, frame hypotheses, define success metrics, and validate before writing specs (discovery rigor).
  • Ability to prototype, sketch flows, and pull/analyze data hands-on.
  • Founder mindset: ownership beyond role boundaries and ability to move initiatives to completion.
  • Strong product judgment and design taste; attention to detail in trust-sensitive banking interactions.
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity and making decisions with incomplete information.
  • Proven ability to partner cross-functionally and communicate the why to align teams.
