“A Day in the Life”

As the Product Manager, you will be an integral part of sales, marketing, and inventory

management for the organization. This role provides analysis and market trend information to help determine appropriate inventory levels to meet customer needs and requests. Incumbents work both internally with sales and externally with vendors to maintain knowledge of the market, industry, and product offerings.

 

“What You’ll Do”

  • Primary point of contact for our vendors. 
  • Participate in vendor presentations, seminars, and customer briefings to continually update knowledge of products and to strengthen relationships with vendors
  • Work with equipment manufacturers, become fully immersed in the markets that drive changes in technologies
  • Maintain appropriate inventory levels of inventory based on market dynamics and organizational goals
  • Analyze historical inventory data, market trends and information from a variety of sources to identify models to stock in our rental inventory
  • Assess and track equipment exposure and optimize inventory to obtain maximum value for equipment
  • Interact with the sales team to develop and propose creative product and financial alternatives to satisfy customers’ needs
  • Issue purchase orders after negotiating with vendors to achieve the lowest possible equipment acquisition cost
  • Provide the marketing team with accurate product information to support our various go-to-market strategies
  • Maintain accurate product descriptions in our proprietary inventory management system and in our web content management system
  • Provide appropriate training and tools to the sales team to support product knowledge and application awareness
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Location of Position:

Near DFW Airport – Dallas, TX – Hybrid office and remote after training
