Valmet Automation is a leading supplier of automation solutions for customers in pulp and paper industries, power generation, marine automation and process industries.

Are you ready to shape the future of the process industry? We’re looking for a forward-thinking Product Manager to lead our Cabinet products as part of our Automation offering. In this role, you’ll act as the product owner, collaborating closely with R&D, sales, and delivery teams to ensure our cabinet products meet customer expectations and deliver real value. You're responsible for cabinet products development management and cabinet design toolchain.

Team is located in Tampere, but the position can be based in other major Valmet locations.

Your responsibilities
  • Lead the development and lifecycle management of cabinet products

  • Collaborate with R&D, sales, and delivery teams to ensure customer value

  • Manage and develop the cabinet design toolchain

  • Drive product improvements aligned with business goals and customer needs

  • Act as product owner and ensure successful execution of development initiatives

Expectations for you
  • University degree in a relevant technology field

  • Leadership as superior or project management

  • Solid understanding of industrial automation and distributed control systems (e.g., Valmet DNA/DNAe)

  • Expertise in design, product management, or production of control system cabinets

  • Fluency in English and ability to work in a global environment

Skills Required
