Current Opening:
We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to define, deliver, and continuously improve product capabilities that support behavioral health and healthcare organizations. This role serves as both a strategic and executional leader for one or more product areas, translating business objectives, customer needs, and clinical workflows into a prioritized product roadmap and backlog. The Product Manager will work closely with Engineering, QA, PMO, Customer Experience, and business stakeholders to deliver innovative, customer-centric solutions that drive measurable outcomes and align with Streamline’s strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Own and articulate a clear product vision and roadmap aligned with organizational goals, customer needs, and market opportunities.
Define product success metrics and continuously measure outcomes to drive product improvements.
Conduct ongoing market, customer, and competitive analysis to inform product strategy and prioritization.
Collaborate with leadership and stakeholders to align product initiatives with business objectives
Create, refine, and prioritize the product backlog based on business value, customer impact, and technical considerations.
Write clear, actionable user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria.
Lead backlog grooming and refinement sessions to ensure stories are ready for sprint planning.
Experience translating customer, clinical, and operational needs into product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritized backlog items.
Collaborate closely with Engineering, QA, DevOps, and PMO teams throughout the product lifecycle.
Support release planning and coordinate product delivery activities across multiple teams when required.
Identify, assess, and proactively manage risks, dependencies, and impediments impacting delivery.
Required Skills and Experience:
5–8 years of product management experience, preferably within healthcare technology, behavioral health, human services, EHR, clinical documentation, care coordination, or related healthcare software products.
Strong understanding of behavioral health clinical workflows, care delivery models, documentation requirements, and healthcare regulatory considerations.
Experience translating customer, clinical, and operational needs into product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritized backlog items.
Proven ability to manage product lifecycle activities from concept through launch, including prioritization, release readiness, adoption, and continuous improvement.
Experience conducting customer discovery, gathering feedback, validating workflows, and incorporating insights into product strategy.
Strong working knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience collaborating with cross-functional delivery teams.
Ability to partner effectively with clinicians, customers, implementation teams, engineering, QA, customer success, and leadership teams.
Excellent communication, analytical, and facilitation skills with the ability to explain complex workflow needs clearly to both clinical and technical audiences.
Passion for improving behavioral healthcare delivery through intuitive, customer-focused technology solutions.
Preferred Skills:
Experience working with behavioral health, mental health, substance use treatment, human services, or integrated care organizations.
Hands-on experience with EHR, practice management, patient engagement, clinical documentation, care coordination, or reporting workflows.
Prior experience as a Clinical Informaticist, Product Owner, Implementation Consultant, Customer Success Partner, or Product Manager in a healthcare technology environment.
Familiarity with behavioral health compliance, interoperability standards, privacy regulations, consent management, quality reporting, and state/federal healthcare requirements.
Experience supporting SaaS healthcare products in regulated environments.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Clinical Informatics, Product Management, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered.
10+ years of overall professional experience, including Product Management, Product Ownership, Business Analysis, Clinical Informatics, Healthcare Technology, or related roles.
5–8 years of relevant Product Management experience within healthcare technology or related domains.
Experience supporting healthcare SaaS products, behavioral health platforms, EHR/EMR solutions, or care management applications preferred.
Product Management certifications and Agile/Scrum certifications are a plus.
