As a Product Manager in Account Opening & Activation product team , you are an integral part of the team that innovates new product offerings and lead the end-to-end product life cycle. As a product leader, you are responsible for acting as the voice of the customer and developing profitable products that provide customer and internal stakeholder value. Utilizing your strong technology skills & deep understanding of how to get a product off the ground, you guide the successful launch of products, gather crucial feedback, build platform solutions and ensure top-tier client experiences. With a strong commitment to scalability, resiliency, and stability, you collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that exceed customer expectations.
Job responsibilities

  • Develop a product strategy and product vision that delivers value to customers & internal stakeholders
  • Engage closely with platform and engineering teams to crafts the product roadmap for key elements of the Application Lifecycle Management product, and drive these features from discovery through launch
  • Manage discovery efforts to uncover solutions & opportunities and integrate them into the product roadmap
  • Own, maintain, and develop a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition
  • Build the framework and track the product's key success metrics such as value, cost, feature and functionality, reusability, risk posture, and reliability
  • Work with engineering, architecture, and a diverse set of product teams across the enterprise to understand needs & business opportunities, further integration with the Account Opening & Activation platforms, and drive results.
  • Share strategy, roadmap, progress and insights broadly and systematically. Craft the ideal narrative and cadence for different partner and stakeholder audiences..
  • Understand the technologies and approaches in use and those we should be using to drive our objectives for these technical products
  • Build, manage and mentor teams that share the same passion for excellence to deliver value and customer outcomes


Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 12+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in technical product management or a relevant domain area, with experience managing technical platforms and/or data-focused capabilities. Individual with good understanding of technologies including API, Micro services, Cassandra, Kafka, AWS, etc.
  • Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
  • Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
  • A customer obsessed individual with the ability to build and maintain strong, productive relationships with engineers and technical partners, and an ability to translate customer needs into clear product delivery or technical requirements.
  • Strong team player and leader who can inspire action and performance of their team and builds credibility across the enterprise.
  • Ability to translate disparate insights, data & ideas into clear, measurable, scalable features and deliverables
  • Demonstrated ability to drive change through influence and collaboration across a matrix organization in a highly dynamic environment. Strong partnership, consulting, and influence skills
  • Exceptional written and presentation skills a must
  • Experience working in an Agile environment and with Agile project methodologies and tools including JIRA. Know how to navigate JIRA, create issues, and understand more advanced capabilities such as creating dashboards and complex queries using JQL, and you can direct your teams in how to use them.
  • Minimum BA/BS degree required or relevant experience

  • Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization
  • Innovative and creative thinker; able to generate new ideas; forward-thinker; thought-leader
  • Experience working with teams located globally having a high degree of initiative and autonomy but must be able to function successfully as part of a team (in person and virtual)
  • Experience in testing frameworks and best practices across industries that directly relate to banking or financial services
  • Flexibility and adaptability - able to quickly and smoothly change direction based upon stakeholder or management direction, while remaining extremely organized and following tight deadlines
  • Knowledge of Consumer, Lending and Banking Business and products is a plus
