Product Manager (UK Loans)

So far, we’ve rebuilt the Big Three consumer finance products from scratch: loans, credit cards and car finance. We get money into our customers’ hands in minutes instead of days.

We’re growing fast, and there’s a lot more to do: we’re going after the two biggest Western markets (UK and US) where trillions worth of financial products are held by big banks with dated systems and painful processes.

We’re looking for an experienced, strategic, and data-driven Product Manager (PM) to join our dynamic product team at Lendable in UK Loans. In this role you play a pivotal role in shaping the future of fintech. You’ll be looking after our onboarding journey end-to-end focusing on improving conversion across our web and app journeys and identifying new ways of engaging customers. PMs at Lendable take day to day ownership of their product and work closely with teams such as Engineering, Credit, Growth and Operations to take the business to the next level. It’s your job to break down complex tasks into bite sized deliverables and prioritise projects according to their maximum impact. You’ll be comfortable getting into the details but also looking at the big picture and helping Lendable grow.

Essential:

• 2+ years of work experience as a Product Manager or similar role

• A bias for action, you move fast, get things done, and iterate quickly based on feedback

• Data proficiency, you’re comfortable using Python or SQL to query data and running your own data analysis

• Familiarly with AI tools like Cursor, Claude Code or Codex

Desirable:

• Experience working in start-up/scale-up environment preferred but not required

• Experience working on mobile app products preferred but not a requirement

• Owning and driving the strategy, execution, and growth of our origination funnel, particularly focusing on direct lending

• Defining the product roadmap and overseeing delivery with an industry leading Engineering Team.

• Collaborating with other teams across the business, including other Product Managers, Engineering, Credit, Data Science, Finance and Operations.

• Champion data-driven decision-making by designing hypothesis driven tests, measuring outcomes, and iterating quickly based on learnings.

• Using AI to build tools, automate manual workflows and helping your team make faster and better decisions

• Navigating a fast-paced, evolving fintech landscape, balancing innovation with compliance and risk management.

• Partnering with design to ensure our customers’ needs are always at the heart of what we’re building.

• Working with third parties to ensure that the product is best-in-market for the businesses that we work with.

• Autonomy; you are comfortable independently managing a product line, being accountable for delivery and customer impacts. You can confidently run standups and planning sessions with the engineering team, and proactively identify and resolve any issues limiting product development.

• Problem solving; you can break down complex business problems into bite sized chunks.

• Analysis: you have experience with numerical analysis, you’re comfortable using SQL or Python to dig into the data and drive real-world actions.

• Working at speed; you make things happen. You are not afraid to roll up your sleeves and take responsibility for implementation and design decisions. You work at speed and enjoy a healthy dose of pressure.

• Communication and leadership skills; you can communicate clearly and succinctly, orally and in writing. You effortlessly adjust your communication to suit your audience, from business owners to engineers. You don’t have a massive ego and you are happy to change your mind when presented with a good argument.

• Collaboration; you establish close relationships with key stakeholders across a wide variety of different business areas, allowing you to collaborate effectively for product delivery.

• Process management; you’ve developed a solid understanding of the software development life cycle and how Product can support each stage.
