CommBank’s Capital Structuring business is looking for a Product Manager to join our Institutional Banking & Markets (IB&M) business and for part of the Trade Finance Crew.
The role reports to Product Owner Trade Transformation and will help shape the future of our Trade Finance portfolio. The squad aims to provide innovative customer solutions across all areas of Trade Finance, including Traditional Trade, receivables and supply chain finance as well as innovative inventory financing solutions via an omni channel experience.
You'll bring sharp product expertise, analytical capability and delivery focus to help drive strategy, transform the customer experience and streamline processes within a well-governed risk framework.

This role will see you deliver a roadmap for the Trade Finance Crew.
You will be responsible for:
Supporting and driving the delivery of key product objectives.
Supporting Technology and Business teams with shaping and implementing an enhanced customer experiences.
Reduce operational cost and risk while optimising returns.
Your responsibilities
Monitor the product marketplace, trends and direct competitors making recommendations for product enhancements and/or new offerings.
Identify, develop and refine customer propositions, through analysing customer breakpoints, Voice of Customer feedback and opportunities for improvement.
Leverage customer centred design thinking and customer impact analysis into product process development and uplift.
Assess and leverage key product performance insights including financial, business and customer experience, to influence key decisions and prioritise change.
Stay abreast of the regulatory environment the product operates within, and execute regulatory changes where required.
Work collaboratively with various teams including Technology, Risk, and Operations to ensure cohesive product development and go-to-market strategies. Facilitate effective communication and teamwork across all stakeholders. Implement controls where required.
Build and maintain relationships with key technical stakeholders across frontline, technology, risk and operations.
Identify risk, dependencies, and issues for the squad in line with management of operational risk and compliance outcomes.
Support the Product Owner and Crew Lead to ensure overall crew objectives are met
Provide technical expertise to your squad and stakeholders
We’re interested in hearing from people who:
Have previous experience as a Product Manager or similar role
Have highly developed knowledge of Trade Finance products, across Traditional Trade, Open Account and Supply Chain Finance
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and build strong relationships with cross-functional colleagues
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively
Demonstrated problem-solving skills and an ability to manage multiple priorities
Have experience working in an Agile environment

Skills Required
- Previous experience as a Product Manager or similar role
