Job Description
The Global Security: Technical Security team consists of a dynamic group of security professionals who support the physical security of our retail and corporate environments through access control, alarm monitoring, and video surveillance technologies. The high-energy Senior Product Manager role is a position of trust that will guide various products in this set of strategic security technologies.
The successful applicant will exhibit strong critical thinking, sound decision-making, articulate communication, independent initiative, and flourishing curiosity to learn and grow in the ambiguous environments characteristic of large matrixed organizations. The role encompasses a broad range of responsibilities that span people, process, and technology, and is accountable to Global Security Product Directors as primary stakeholders.
As a Product Manager in Global Security, you will use innovative and emerging technologies to solve complex problems and support launching multi-million-dollar multi-year initiatives while clearly articulating benefits and ROI. Occasionally, this will include direct configuration of hardware and software ecosystems or analysis of complex reports and datasets to synthesize program trends in environments with little guidance. This role requires strong program management and presentation skills that include vendor and stakeholder engagement while navigating through tollgates of ideation, funding, planning, and execution.
Job Responsibilities

  • Provide thought leadership and define strategic direction for a suite of integrated enterprise-level cyber physical systems.
  • Manage multi-million-dollar projects to delivery in support of major Technical Security initiatives across the firm; tracking key dates and progress and assist in preparing PowerPoint presentations for senior leaders.
  • Support design, build, manage, and configure physical access control and video surveillance ecosystems.
  • Engage and influence third party vendor roadmaps.
  • Think critically and evaluate innovative technologies and use cases. Configure and perform iterative testing of large populations of security devices.
  • Craft exciting, polished, and articulate PowerPoint presentations for executive leaders.
  • Perform complex reporting data analysis; understand/synthesize/infer/present results.
  • Work with internal training partners to guide updates to job aides and operating procedures, collect and analyze metrics and prepare technical documentation.
  • Support the Product Owners with compliance and audit tasks such as maintaining KPIs and providing supporting evidence of control completion

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 8+ years' experience with project, program, and/or product management; ideally in Technical Security
  • The aptitude to multi-task and learn new software, hardware, and processes quickly and simultaneously; a willingness to progress/flex/expand responsibilities; a high standard of integrity and dependability working autonomously in ambiguous high-pressure environments while maintaining diligence.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in transforming business needs into custom software solutions, including requirements gathering, story writing, test scenario development, and change management
  • Deep understanding of and experience with Agile methodologies, including both scrum and Kanban
  • Knowledge of physical security technology systems (Access Control, Video Systems, Intrusion Detection), and basic IT networking and infrastructure design
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, both written and oral. Able to confidently synthesize and present complex data, tailoring the message to senior audiences.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with team members, internal stakeholders across multiple Lines of Business, and external vendors.
  • Initiative-taker who is intellectually curious, able to autonomously work with minimal direction, critically think, make sound decisions, and follow up with questions.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically PowerPoint, Excel, and Project, as well as with SQL or other similar database tools and script/query languages.
  • Experience implementing physical, technical, and administrative controls
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or technology related field
