About the Role
The Product Manager – Talent Acquisition will play a critical role in defining, implementing, and optimizing Talent Acquisition systems, primarily Workday and Eightfold, along with related technologies. This role involves working closely with product teams and stakeholders, including the Talent Acquisition CoE, to ensure HR technology solutions align with business processes, architectural principles, and organizational priorities. The role requires a strong blend of HR functional expertise and technical capability in Workday HCM and Recruitment modules to deliver scalable, compliant, and high-value solutions for end users. The incumbent will also ensure seamless system performance, manage releases and updates, and drive continuous improvement across the talent acquisition technology landscape.
Role Responsibilities
• Collaborate with cross-functional product teams to define, implement, and optimize Talent Acquisition systems (Workday, Eightfold, and related tools).
• Provide technical and functional guidance to stakeholders to ensure solutions align with HR business processes and enterprise architecture principles.
• Own and manage technical artifacts such as system requirements, configuration documentation, and design specifications.
• Ensure compliance with internal security, risk management policies, and external regulatory requirements.
• Manage and support system changes, including SaaS updates and Workday bi annual releases, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• Partner with service teams to coordinate release management, testing, and deployment activities.
• Lead troubleshooting and resolution of system issues by identifying root causes and implementing fixes or workarounds.
• Support global deployments, ensuring localization requirements are addressed effectively.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system performance and user experience.
• Work with third-party vendors and partners to deliver high-quality product enhancements and integrations.
Basic Qualifications
• Certification (current or previous) in Workday Recruitment.
• 8+ years of experience in Workday HCM and Recruitment modules.
• Demonstrated experience managing offer letter updates, candidate data purges, and mass data operations.
• Experience in delivering products using Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies (e.g., Scrum Product Owner, PMP, PRINCE2).
• Experience managing change and release activities, particularly Workday bi annual releases.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end recruitment processes and their integration with broader HR systems.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot system issues and implement effective technical solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with additional recruitment platforms such as Eightfold, HiredScore, Paradox (Workday), and AI-enabled tools.
• Exposure to global system deployments and localization strategies.
• Experience working with third-party vendors and managing external delivery partners.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Prior experience in a Product Management role within HR technology or Talent Acquisition systems.
