What You’ll Do

As the Sr. Product Manager, Stored Value Solutions, you will be responsible for defining the strategy, growth, and end-to-end commercialization of our new Stored Value Account (SVA) product line. This is a "0-to-1" opportunity to build a new business line from concept to full market launch.

You will act as the single-threaded owner for this initiative, managing the entire lifecycle from product design and technology development to operational readiness and regulatory compliance.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Product Strategy & Vision: Define the long-term product strategy for the SVA platform, including features for both merchants and consumers, account/routing number functionality, and all money-in/out capabilities.
  • End-to-End Commercialization: Lead the complete go-to-market and commercialization plan. Manage all aspects of the product launch, managing the initiative from A-to-Z.
  • Regulatory & Legal Compliance: Partner closely with internal and external legal counsel to design a product that is compliant with all relevant state and federal regulations. Work with legal to ensure all necessary partner and vendor agreements are executed.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Act as the liaison and leader between engineering, payment operations, account operations, legal, compliance, and other business teams. Secure buy-in and coordinate execution to ensure the product meets the needs of all stakeholders and departments.
  • Operational Readiness: Design and implement the new operational processes required to support the SVA product, including customer support, reconciliation, and compliance workflows.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 10+ years of experience in product management, general management, or product commercialization within the payments, banking, or fintech industry.
  • Proven experience taking a complex financial product from concept to market ("0-to-1" build).
  • Experience planning and executing large-scale projects, from strategy development to implementation.
  • Strong understanding of the U.S. financial regulatory landscape (e.g., money transmission, BSA/AML, Reg E, deposit regulations).
  • Extremely strong communication skills and the ability to develop and maintain genuine relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Deep domain expertise in stored value accounts, demand deposit accounts (DDAs), or "Banking as a Service" (BaaS) platforms.
  • Experience managing P&L for a product line.
  • Direct experience working with payment operations and account operations teams to build support models.

The pay range for this position is $165,000 - $190,000; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered. This position is located in Palo Alto, CA and will require in office attendance 2x a week.
