Software is at the core of our products, enabling researchers to progress science forward and reach experimental conclusions faster and easier. We're seeking a Product Manager, Software to build products that advance biology to improve human health.
You’ll conduct research to deeply understand customer workflows and needs, assess the business impact and guide the prioritization across an array of exciting possibilities, plan out the roadmap and releases, and work with designers and engineers to build the product.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Ensure we deliver impactful, well-designed software products and web experiences that customers love.
- Perform independent research to understand complex workflows, and uncover business cases.
- Drive consensus across cross-functional and establish processes by leveraging strong leadership, planning and collaboration skills.
- Develop customer/product requirements, prioritize projects and evaluate trade-offs.
- Communicate problems and solutions clearly to all levels and roles across the company.
- Analyze metrics and analytics to assess business impact and inform product decisions.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent)
- 1 year of experience in product management, software management, or equivalent experience in a related field.
Preferred Skills and Experience
We believe that entrusting capable individuals yields better results than requiring extensive subject matter expertise or lengthy experience. That said, here are some skills and experiences that will help you succeed—roughly in priority order:
- Exceptional research and problem-solving skills, including the ability to abstract and identify patterns from complex scenarios.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences.
- Strong understanding of user experience design principles.
- Robust project management skills with a proven ability to handle competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in leveraging product analytics (including Salesforce) to guide decisions.
Below is the base pay range for this full-time position. The actual base pay will depend on several factors unique to each candidate, including one’s skills, qualifications, and experience. At 10x, base pay is also just one component of the Company’s total compensation package. This role is also eligible for 10x’s equity grants, its comprehensive health and retirement benefit programs, and its annual bonus program or sales incentive program. During the hiring process, your 10x recruiter can share more about the Company’s total compensation package.
