PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: 

Product Strategy & Roadmap:

  • Define and execute the product strategy and roadmap for Watts SEA fluids solutions product lines

Market & Customer Insights:

  • Understand Market need, trends, standards, and competitor intelligence for the given product lines. Design, develop, track and update competitive intelligence
  • Lead market research, competitive analysis, and customer needs assessment to identify growth opportunities and inform product development
  • Translate customer and market insights into product requirements, value propositions, and business cases.

New Product Development (NPD):

  • Initiate and lead NPD projects from concept through launch, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, cost targets, and customer requirements
  • Develop business cases, specifications, and launch plans; manage cross-functional project teams (engineering, operations, quality, supply chain) to deliver on time and within budget
  • Track & manage new product performance to meet targeted new product vitality metrics

Pricing Management:

  • Develop and implement pricing strategies to optimize profitability and competitiveness.
  • Analyze market pricing, cost structures, and value propositions; recommend price adjustments and support price negotiations with key accounts.

Product Lifecycle Management:

  • Manage product lifecycle from introduction to end-of-life, including enhancements, rationalization, and margin improvement.

Go-to-Market Support:

  • Partner with sales, marketing teams to develop product training, sales tools, and launch campaigns.

Business Planning & Performance Tracking:

  • Responsible for providing input to major reviews and operating pulses, including Business Plans, Strategy Plan, AOP, and other periodic estimates that are required by the business. Inputs will include financial projections (sales and CM by product line) and specific commitments for growth from commercial programs and NPI launches
  • Monitor product performance, pricing, and margins; provide regular reporting and actionable insights and corrective actions where Cost reduction initiatives needed including continuous improvements, product redesigns, and alternative sourcing.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor or master degree in Mechanical, Engineering, Refrigeration, HVAC background preferred

EXPERIENCE:

  • 3-5 years of product management experience in an industrial or B2B environment
  • Deep product line domain expertise
  • HVAC and data center cooling system expertise, knowledge in semiconductor manufacturing fluids control products would be a plus
  • Strong understanding of industrial markets, manufacturing processes, and customer purchasing behaviors
  • Proven success managing product portfolios including NPD projects and pricing strategy
  • Successful track record working with or strong understanding of product management process
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

MINIMUM REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Project management capabilities
  • Collaborate across functions and communicate effectively
  • Drive for results and deliver high quality work
  • Focus on the customer
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Fluent business English, be able to lead discussions/meetings in English
