Job Responsibilities -
We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead the development and enhancement of our tax compliance SaaS platform. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of GST regulations, compliance workflows, and SaaS product development. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, QA, to ensure our product meets evolving tax laws and customer needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Strategy & Roadmap:
Define and execute the product vision and strategy for our GST compliance software.
Develop and maintain a product roadmap that aligns with business goals, regulatory changes, and customer needs.
Prioritize features based on customer feedback, market research, and compliance requirements.
Tax Compliance & Regulatory Alignment:
Stay up to date with GST regulations and ensure product compliance.
Collaborate with tax experts, legal teams, and industry regulators to anticipate regulatory changes.
Drive automation and AI-driven solutions to improve GST compliance accuracy.
Product Development & Execution:
Work closely with engineering, UX/UI, and data teams to develop scalable GST compliance solutions.
Translate business and regulatory requirements into detailed product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Lead Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success.
Customer & Market Research:
Conduct user research and gather feedback from CFOs / VP Finance / Tax Heads of enterprises.
Analyze competitors and industry trends to ensure our product remains market-leading.
Identify pain points in GST compliance workflows and develop innovative solutions.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication:
Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding GST compliance product initiatives.
Work closely with sales, customer success, and tech teams to ensure successful product adoption.
Develop training materials, webinars, and documentation to educate customers on new product features.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience:
4+ years of experience in product management, preferably in SaaS, tax compliance, fintech, or regulatory technology.
Proven track record of managing compliance-related products or enterprise SaaS solutions.
Technical & Industry Knowledge:
Strong understanding of GST regulations
Experience with tax compliance software, ERP integrations (SAP, Oracle), and accounting platforms.
Knowledge of APIs, cloud-based solutions, and automation technologies.
Soft Skills:
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking abilities.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional, and Agile environment.
