Product Manager, Reconciliation - LATAM
We’re looking for a Product Manager to work with reconciliation internally and externally with 3rd Party Partner Platforms. Internal focus will be to review what the market and our merchants are expecting when it comes to reporting compared to what we currently offer today. At a later moment, this PM might take on additional projects/products within the Payments Product team, not necessarily related to Reconciliation.
What you’ll do:
- Drive Scalability and Automation: Challenge and reimagine current operational processes to distribute and automate workloads. Design frameworks that allow LATAM reporting to align with global practices, aiming for operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with External Partners: Interface with reconciliation providers and merchants to address reconciliation needs, ensuring support and scalability. Develop solutions to manage external relationships efficiently
- Champion Merchant Experience: Work closely with merchants to deeply understand their reconciliation challenges, translating these insights into innovative, scalable solutions leveraging regional and global teams.
- Support Internal Teams: Provide hands-on support to Support and Commercial teams for report-related queries and incidents. Develop documentation, training, and scalable processes to reduce reliance on direct involvement.
- Bridge Regional and Global Reporting: Act as the LATAM subject matter expert for the Merchant Reporting Product team, collaborating on global report improvements and ensuring regional requirements are considered.
- Maintain Accurate Documentation: Own and update LATAM-specific reporting content, including hub pages, Adyen Docs, and local reporting manuals. Focus on creating clear, actionable documentation to empower stakeholders.
- Foster Scalability through Knowledge Sharing: Scale knowledge within the organization by providing clear documentation, frameworks, and support models that enable others to take ownership of regional reporting needs.
- Simplify Reporting Offerings: Lead initiatives to deprecate redundant local reports, ensuring merchants can rely on simplified, globally consistent reporting solutions as new data becomes available.
Who you are:
- Minimum 5 years in product management, ideally in fintech, payments, or financial reporting. Experience managing cross-functional teams and external stakeholders is essential.
- You have 3+ years work experience in the payments industry (domestic / international) and/or product partnerships
- Comfortable with hands-on operational work while simultaneously driving long-term scalability and automation
- Experience seeing projects through from beginning to end, owning the entire process
- Proven track record of designing and implementing frameworks that reduce manual effort and enable scalable operations
- You have exceptional people skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships at all levels of management and day-to-day team members
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly to internal teams and external partners. You have full professional proficiency (written and verbal) in English.

Why Work With Us
At Adyen, everything we do is engineered for ambition. We started with payments, at a time when providers offered services based on a patchwork of systems built on outdated infrastructure. Ambition demanded more. So we set off to build a financial technology platform for the modern era, entirely in-house, from the ground up.
