The Role
We are looking for a Product Manager, OSS Platform to build platform capabilities that make DriveNets' next-generation OSS intelligent, safe, extensible, and deployable — working alongside our existing platform owners, including the PM who owns the workflow and automation engine.
This role is for a strong technical product builder from adjacent software worlds — AI products, workflow and automation platforms, enterprise SaaS, DevOps, observability, security operations, developer platforms, API/integration platforms — who does not need to be a networking expert on day one. Depending on where you fit and what we need, you may own areas spanning the platform's AI experiences, governance and trust, the connector and developer platform, and lower-networking operational areas of the product — building on top of, and in partnership with, our core automation platform rather than duplicating it.
You will partner closely with our OSS Network Domain PMs, who own the networking semantics — and we will actively teach you networking to the level you need: services, planning, ISP-site and operator context, and what configuration, routers, and a NOS are. You are not expected to master device- and NOS-level networking; you are expected to build great platform product on top of correct domain models.
This is a builder PM role. The goal is to turn repeated operator and customer needs into reusable platform capabilities, clear contracts, and safe automation — not customer-specific screens, scripts, integrations, or forks.
Responsibilities
- Own the product vision, strategy, roadmap, and epics for your platform area(s).
- Shape AI-native experiences across the platform: AI-assisted workflow creation and explanation, natural-language investigation, AI troubleshooting and debugging, incident summarization, and recommendation review.
- Define governance and trust: users, roles, and permissions; versioning, publishing, testing/simulation, and rollback; audit trail; and AI explainability, feedback, and evaluation signals.
- Define the integration and developer platform: connector framework for external systems (inventory, telemetry, alarms/events, NMS/EMS, controllers, orchestrators, ITSM, BSS/CRM/order systems, customer tools); northbound/southbound APIs, SDKs, webhooks, and event subscriptions; adapter lifecycle (creation, certification, versioning, deployment, monitoring, upgrade, deprecation); integration observability; and developer experience (docs, playgrounds, sandboxes, reference integrations).
- Help define human-in-the-loop and automation-safety experiences — when the system recommends, asks for approval, or executes, and how users understand risk, confidence, evidence, and blast radius — in close partnership with the workflow engine owner.
- Own lower-networking operational areas as needed (for example workforce/field management), applying the same platform and productization thinking.
- Partner with the workflow and automation engine PM where AI, governance, and integrations build on the engine — extending and complementing it rather than re-owning it.
- Translate operator and customer needs into reusable platform capabilities, not one-offs, and help prevent deployments from becoming custom professional-services projects.
- Partner with OSS Network Domain PMs so platform behavior is grounded in correct service, resource, topology, state, and action semantics.
- Work closely with R&D, architects, and design to define product behavior, user flows, state models, contracts, edge cases, failure modes, acceptance criteria, and MVP tradeoffs.
- Use modern AI tools day-to-day to accelerate discovery, PRD/epic writing, prototyping, API/mapping design, competitive analysis, and release readiness.
- 7+ years of product management experience in enterprise SaaS, workflow/automation platforms, AI products, DevOps, observability, security operations, developer platforms, API/integration platforms, or similar technical products.
- Proven experience building and shipping one or more of: AI/copilot experiences, workflow and automation platforms, low-code/no-code tools, incident-management products, APIs, connector frameworks, SDKs, integration platforms, developer experiences, or partner ecosystems.
- Strong builder orientation: defines product behavior, state models, contracts, edge cases, failure modes, and acceptance criteria in close collaboration with R&D and architects.
- Strong productization instincts: distinguishes reusable platform capability from configurable customer mapping, extension point, and custom-services work.
- Familiarity with modern technical product patterns relevant to the platform — for example AI/LLM patterns (copilots, RAG, summarization, NL search, generation, feedback loops, evals, explainability, grounding), human-in-the-loop and operational trust, and/or enterprise integration patterns (REST, event-driven, webhooks, streaming, batch sync, data mapping, auth/secrets, versioning, error handling, observability).
- Comfortable learning networking and OSS domains and partnering deeply with domain experts and architects. Telecom / networking / OSS experience is a plus, not a requirement — we will teach you the networking you need.
- Comfortable owning ambiguity and shifting priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment; able to travel as needed for customer and partner engagements.

What We Do
DriveNets is a rapidly growing software company that has created a radical new way for service providers and hyperscalers to build their networking infrastructure. DriveNets Network Cloud and DriveNets Network Cloud-AI are new innovative networking solutions that apply the cloud architectural approach to high-scale networking. They bring together the scalability of standard Ethernet Clos architecture with the high performance and reliability of service provider networking, delivering optimal networking performance, scale and cost structure for service providers and hyperscalers. Founded by Ido Susan and Hillel Kobrinsky, two successful telco entrepreneurs, DriveNets Network Cloud is the leading open disaggregated networking solution based on cloud-native software running over standard white boxes. Over three funding rounds, DriveNets raised $587 million. Its solutions are used by tens of service providers globally and are in proof-of-concept and lab trials at dozens of operators and hyperscalers, consistently ranking #1 in trials for breadth of capabilities and solution quality. AT&T, the largest backbone in the US, deployed DriveNets Network Cloud across its core network, and DriveNets is currently transporting more than 52% of AT&T’s core network traffic. DriveNets is engaged with over 100 Tier-1 operators and cloud-providers on large projects in North America, Asia and Europe.
