Job Description
OBJECTIVES/PURPOSE
As the Personalized Content Generation and Digital Asset Management (DAM) Product Manager working in the Content Innovation team, you will be the single point of accountability to business stakeholders for strategy, thought partnership, solution design, product planning, roadmap and overseeing use case delivery using Content Generation and DAM products across the Enterprise. In this role, you will work with cross functional teams and understand the user/customer needs as they relate to Content Generation and Digital Asset Management, translate them into the product roadmap, aligned to Enterprise priorities and the product strategy.

  • Develop, own and communicate a clear product vision and strategy for Content Generation and Digital Asset Management product features, including product goals, a roadmap, and value metrics.
  • Identify opportunities and user/customer needs through research, user interviews/feedback, and analysis.
  • Lead the planning, design, development, testing and release of these Global products from concept to launch. Drive adoption of the global product features across the Enterprise in different use cases related to Content Management and Consumption.
  • Collaborate with Platform teams and Product Owners to ensure successful development of product features and releases, including robust and comprehensive product documentation.
  • Lead and own detailed product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Drive the adoption and evolution of the Personalized Content Generation and Digital Asset Management capabilities. Communicate product updates, progress, and plans to stakeholders, including senior management.
  • Build a trusted and transparent relationship across all levels of DD&T and the broader business organizations.
  • Partner with all delivery partners (Internal and External) to ensure quality delivery of global products leveraging Enterprise Platform capabilities.


ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Partner with global and regional stakeholders to understand business strategy and unmet customer/user needs and design solution aligned to business needs.
  • Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy aligned to business needs and strategic imperatives.
  • Develop and own the Personalized Content Generation and Digital Asset Management capabilities roadmap aligned to product vision, business needs, and technology evolution.
  • Collaborate with enterprise platform teams to deliver the roadmap initiatives in partnership with internal and external stakeholders through agile delivery teams. Identify roadmap opportunities and user/customer needs through research, user feedback, and analysis.
  • Define product goals and associated value metrics, aligned to Takeda's Data and Digital imperatives.
  • Lead the end-to-end product development process from concept to launch. Support and manage a team of product owners who are accountable for delivery. Ensure they are effectively grooming the product backlogs based on prioritized customer needs.
  • Act as a single point of contact for product and platform teams when designing solutions and features for Personalized Content Generation and Digital Asset Management.
  • Drive adoption through delivery of Personalized Content Generation and Digital Asset Management product features that are of high quality and high value. Ensure these are fully leveraged to drive maximum business value and success.
  • Build trust and relationship with the DDT and business teams, through thought leadership, subject matter expertise, quality solution design, partnerships and transparent communication.
  • Integrated end to end focus of solutions through the value chain including collection and utilization of data as key enablers.
  • Establish and institutionalize regular end-to-end KPI reviews for solution adoption, and continuous solution improvement process.
  • Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and competitive landscape. Analyze user data and feedback to understand user behavior and identify areas for improvement.


OTHER DIMENSIONS AND ASPECTS

  • Knowledge of Content Generation and Digital Asset Management Platforms such as Adobe, Hyntelo, Shaman, Anthill, Veeva Promomats and Veeva Vault.
  • Business Acumen in the content design, creation, automation, sharing, tagging, resuse and approvals with a focus on the Life Sciences industry.
  • Able to engage with all levels of the organization and be proficient at building out clearly defined business requirements during discussions with stakeholders.
  • Able to clearly communicate and foster alignment across all levels of the organization.
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships with team members in the other enterprise functions like System Integrators, Digital Leads, Enterprise Architects.
  • Strong ability to build external partnerships with industry partners and suppliers.
  • Able to generate breakthrough solutions and enable others to do so.
  • Day-to-day decisions regarding design, development, and implementation of innovative content solutions across Takeda globally.
  • Able to present issues and recommend solutions in a succinct manner to Global, Senior and Executive Management on a frequent basis.
  • Recommend and monitor spend for project budgets.


DUCATION, BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:
Essential

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and/or Digital Marketing related fields or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of relevant of experience implementing Content Authoring solutions at an enterprise level in a regulated environment.
  • Strong "soft skills" and English communication skills.
  • Deep Experience with Digital Asset Management Platforms such as Adobe, Hyntelo, Shaman, Anthill, Veeva Promomats and Veeva Vault
  • Deep Experience with enterprise end-to-end processes in the content management life cycle
  • Experience of working with global teams and experience of working in international, multi-country, multi-cultural environment.
  • Experience in Product Management process and leading group of product owners.
  • Experience working in a life sciences environment strongly preferred
  • Experience working in an agile environment strongly preferred


ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

  • International Travel of up to 10% may be required from this position.

U.S. Base Salary Range:
$149,100.00 - $234,300.00
The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.
U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/ or long-term incentives. U.S. based employees may be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others. U.S. based employees are also eligible to receive, per calendar year, up to 80 hours of sick time, and new hires are eligible to accrue up to 120 hours of paid vacation.
