As a Product Manager for Payment Accuracy, you will own the end-to-end lifecycle of analytics-driven products focused on identifying and reducing medical overpayments. This role requires a strong combination of product leadership, healthcare claims expertise, and data-driven decision-making. You will partner closely with Data Science, Data Engineering, and Claims SMEs to translate complex business problems into scalable product solutions that drive measurable financial outcomes

Key Duties will be:

  • Understand and know the roadmap and overall product strategy

  • Own product vision, roadmap, and measurable outcomes (MCS, precision, ROI)

  • Translate claims/payment accuracy problems into product and analytics use cases

  • Partner with Data Science and Data Engineering to deliver scalable solutions

  • Prioritize which new features in the backlog will be added to the product

  • Understand the customer needs and be able to interpret customer feedback

  • Develop and implement plans to achieve business goals

  • Proactively support project and/or business by creating project documents, timelines that identify key milestones and additional resources needed on selected project(s)

  • Serve as the voice & champion of POA by driving the growth of the analytics program in a methodical & orderly manner with proper business controls and reporting built into the program

  • Identify gaps and recommend enhancements related to new and/or existing products, services and workflows based on a broad view of the organization

  • Work directly with vendors and business partners to resolve issues and in a timely manner

  • Facilitate project teams and present updates to leadership, influencing various internal (cross-functional/segment) and external parties (e.g., vendor management).

  • Identify issues that may stall project and address them by either direct resolution, creating an alternative solution, or escalation to leadership

  • Track progress and communicate project(s) status on a regular basis to all impacted parties.

  • Build communication plans for implementation to ensure all impacted parties (upstream/downstream) are informed of next steps for completion

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of product management experience, preferably in analytics or healthcare products

  • 3+ years healthcare claims or payment accuracy experience

  • Experience working with Data Science or Data Engineering teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Cross functional matrix partnership experience

  • Financial acumen

  • Agile, Lean and/or Six Sigma Project Management skills

  • Claims processing experience or End-to-End claims knowledge

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$101,970.00 - $203,940.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
