Job Description

As a Product Manager at Rockwell Automation, you will contribute to the development and execution of product and marketing strategies for our medium voltage drive products. Your role will involve working closely with and influencing cross-functional teams to ensure product alignment with customer needs, market trends, and business objectives. You will report to the Business Manager for Medium Voltage Drives and will work Hybrid in Cambridge, ON.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Planning: Contribute to strategic plans for Medium Voltage Products and Solutions with special focus on PowerFlex Drives Portfolio through the Business Strategy Review (BSR) process and Financial Annual Operating Plans (AOP)
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Operate through and influence cross-functional teams in a dynamic, matrix-style organization.
  • Product Life Cycle Management: Plan, support and execute actions related to product management for the assigned Product responsibility.
  • Financial Management: Help manage costs and financial objectives for new product introductions and post-introduction profitability and financial performance of assigned Product responsibility.
  • Product and Customer Communication: Help provide end-to-end response management for product queries, enhancements, customer promotions, and project inquiries.
  • Performance Tracking: Define, track, and report on key business objectives and goals to senior leaders related to assigned Product responsibility.
  • Collaboration With Partners: Work with internal and external partners to solve complex problems and deliver timely, cost-effective quality solutions.
  • Product Quality Support: Support product quality issue resolution in collaboration with Customer Loyalty, Sales, Quality, and Technical Support teams.
  • Commercial Programs: Develop and manage commercial programs to generate new business and increase market share.
  • Market Knowledge: Expand knowledge of global industry trends, customer issues, and competition with a global perspective.
The Essentials - You Will Have:
  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant field.
  • Ability to travel for business, including internationally for up to 30% of time.
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
  • Typically requires minimum of 5 years of related experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical or electronics Engineering.
  • 5+ years of related experience in Industrial Automation/Power Control Product Management or Engineering, specifically with Variable Frequency Drives
  • Experience with strategy development, profit and loss management, and customer relationship management.
  • Familiarity with the global Industrial Automation and/or Variable Frequency Drive or motor control market space and trends.
  • Commercial experience in sales or marketing

For this role, the total target compensation is from $84,320.00 to 105,400.00 CAD Annual. Actual pay will be based on factors such as skills, knowledge, education, and experience.
