To help us continue expanding our offerings, we’re in search of an experienced Product Manager: IoT Products to lead a multidisciplinary development team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for gaps in consumer product offerings and an innovative mindset for filling them. This person should be a highly skilled market analyst with a proven ability to strategize the full lifecycle of a product, from conception to release. We’re looking for a confident leader who can guide cross-functional teams in the creation of products that improve customer experience and grow market share. This role requires a strategic thinker who can work cross-functionally to drive product vision, strategy, and execution.

Product Strategy and Vision:

• Develop and articulate the product vision, positioning and strategy for IoT products in alignment with the company’s overall goals.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and customer needs.
• Define and prioritize product features and roadmap based on customer feedback, market demands, and business objectives.
• Create product strategy documents that describe business cases, high-level use cases, technical requirements, revenue, and ROI

Product Development and Management:

• Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle from ideation, development, launch, and post-launch optimization.
• Work closely with engineering, design, and other cross-functional teams to ensure timely and high-quality product delivery.
• Develop, implement, and maintain production timelines across multiple departments
• Translate product strategy into detailed requirements for prototyping and final development by engineering teams

Stakeholder Engagement:

• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and customer support teams to ensure successful product launches and adoption.
• Communicate product updates, roadmaps, and strategic direction to stakeholders
• Engage with customers and partners to gather feedback and insights for product improvements and new features.

Performance Monitoring:

• Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and drive continuous improvement.
• Analyze product performance data and user feedback to inform decision-making and future product development.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.

Qualifications

Qualifications we’re looking for.  

• Experience: 
  • 3+ years’ experience in a dynamic product management role in the field of IoT devices, electronic consumer products or any products blended from hardware, software and mechanical engineering.
  • Background with sensors and cameras.
  • Proven success in overseeing all elements of the product development lifecycle.
  • Direct customer facing experience required.
• Skills: 
  • High effectiveness in managing cross-functional teams
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, combined with strong presentation and public speaking skills
• Abilities: 
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira or Trello.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to IoT products.
• Education: 
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in engineering.

Nice To Have Skills:

• Experience with Camera systems.
• Experience with e-paper displays / embedded devices.
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to IoT products.
