Your Role
As a Product Manager - IoT Data Products, you will lead the strategic vision, development, and implementation of customer-facing data solutions, including embedded analytics. Your role involves envisioning and delivering innovative IoT data products that empower businesses to derive actionable insights and make informed decisions.
Your Impact
- Product Strategy and Vision: Define and execute the roadmap for IoT data products and embedded analytics solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- User-Centric Design: Prioritize customer needs by translating requirements into comprehensive product features and specifications.
- Collaborative Development: Partner with cross-functional teams, including UX designers, data scientists, and engineers, to deliver scalable solutions such as APIs, dashboards, and self-service tools.
- Market Analysis: Identify industry trends and competitive opportunities, shaping product differentiation and essential capabilities.
- Go-To-Market Coordination: Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams for product enablement, launch strategies, and market adoption.
- Product Documentation: Maintain user guides, FAQs, and training materials for customer engagement and understanding.
- Data Monetization: Craft strategies for monetizing IoT data products through subscription models and value-based pricing.
- Feedback Loop: Conduct ongoing user research to refine product performance and address evolving needs.
Your Skills
- IoT Expertise: Proficient in IoT architectures, data pipelines, and IoT analytics solutions.
- Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with analytics platforms (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI), embedded analytics frameworks, SQL, APIs, AI-capabilities, and big data tools like Hadoop and Spark.
- Cloud and Knowledge: Familiar with AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud data services.
- Data Visualization: Strong ability to create compelling visualizations and insights.
- Compliance Understanding: Deep knowledge of data privacy and security standards, including GDPR and HIPAA.
- Practical experience in the relevant field, ideally supported by a Bachelor's degree in a related discipline.
- Proven product management experience in IoT, analytics, or data-centric fields.
- Agile/Scrum expertise with a proven track record of managing cross-functional projects.
- Exceptional communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge supported with certifications in product management or data analytics
- Background in IoT applications, IoT connectivity, or cloud-based data solutions, ideally from scale-up companies
