We are looking for a Business Analyst / Product Manager that is responsible for developing, maintaining and improving our Investments platform.  ING uses this platform to offer Investments products in the Netherlands and Belgium. This includes the investments module in the mobile banking app, but also the investments backend, api’s and much more. The job opening is in the Markets & Instruments team of our Tribe.  

The Markets & Instruments team 

At ING Investments we play an important role to empower our customers to invest in a sustainable way. Data about sustainability is becoming more and more relevant each day.  

We’re looking for a colleague that has the drive and the ability to help us improve our market & instrument data domain, with a focus on sustainability data and reporting towards regulators, customers and internal stakeholders.  

The team develops and maintains api’s providing the data that gives our clients insight into their investments portfolio and the assortment of instruments we offer. Examples of these services are:  

• Instrument & market information (such as prices/quotes) 
• Fund data (such as cost information and legal documents) 
• Search functionality  
• Sustainability reporting
   

Role and responsibilities  

• Together with your team, and colleagues within our tribe, you will work on: 
• Delivering price information showing our clients how their instruments are performing 
• Implement & maintain the necessary sustainability data feeds that reflect ING’s ESG priorities 
• Create and maintain ESG reporting that’s in line with regional and international frameworks (such as periodic disclosure and SBTI reporting), ensuring that ING complies with applicable ESG-related regulations 
• Manage, automate and improve the instrument management processes needed to help our customers view their investments and trade in them 
• What you bring 
• You are data-oriented and willing to dive deep into our investments platform to improve and automate the main flows of data that fuel our services 
• You are passionate and knowledgeable about investments, and are interested in sustainability and the role it can play in the investments domain 
• You are experienced at managing projects, and are structured and organized by nature. You are able to juggle multiple priorities at the same time 
• You have experience working in a multidisciplinary team with engineers, business analysts and product experts 
• You are able to bridge the gap between business and tech, and together with the team refine the epics, features and stories that the engineers implement  
• You enjoy context switching from solving incidents to technical refinement, discussions with suppliers and designing new solutions to help our clients 

About you

• Master's Degree and experience in a similar role
• Currently resident in the Netherlands
• Excellent English skills both verbal and written, Dutch is nice to have
