Introduction to team 

Our Expedia Product & Technology division builds innovative products, services, and tools to deliver high-quality experiences for travelers, partners, and our employees. A unified, singular technology platform powered by data and machine learning provides secure, differentiated, and personalized experiences for the traveler and our partners that drive loyalty and customer satisfaction.

The Product Manager III sits within our Traveler Product division in Expedia Group. The loyalty experience team develops and optimizes product initiatives across the Expedia brands and markets targeting new and existing members, providing our travelers contextualized experiences, providing benefits unique to our millions of members whilst working closely with our partner product teams to give the best 2 sided market place experience

In the Role, you will:

  • Strategic Vision and Roadmap Development:
  • xDrive the ideation and development of "0 to 1" product strategies, envisioning innovative solutions that disrupt the market and meet untapped traveler needs.
  • Develop and refine the feature roadmap, ensuring it reflects a deep understanding of user needs and market trends.
  • Define and drive the new core benefits into our loyalty programme
  • Drive engagement and comprehension of loyalty with our members
  • Market Analysis and Competitive Intelligence:
  • Conduct in-depth market research and trend analysis to identify unexplored opportunities and gaps in the market.
  • Utilize findings to make informed decisions and maintain a competitive edge in the market.
  • User-Centric Focus:
  • Champion a user-centric approach by conducting user research, gathering feedback, and translating insights into actionable product improvements.
  • Performance Metrics and Data-Driven Decision Making:
  • Define and monitor key product metrics, utilizing data to drive decision-making processes and continuously optimize product performance.
  • Stakeholder Communication:
  • Effectively communicate product strategies, updates, and performance to internal stakeholders, fostering alignment and support.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s in Computer Science/Mathematics/Engineering/Statistics or related technical field or equivalent related professional experience
  • 5+ years of Product Management experience for bachelor's degree and/or 6+ years for master's degree, applicable experience within technology / e-commerce
  • Excellent communication skills; able to partner effectively with cross functional teams
  • Experienced in core Product Management skills e.g., Agile Practices, communication, data science principles, listening, scientific method, reverse engineering, business acumen, influence and risk taking
  • Experience in the online travel industry
  • Knowledge of working with scrum teams in an agile environment
  • Ability to work with a wide range of teams, across several time zones
