Product Manager II - B59B
Annual Salary $85,000.00 + Full State Employee Benefits
Days worked will be Monday through Friday.
Travel is Occasional. Must possess a valid driver's license and must maintain required car insurance.
COMPLEXITY OF SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Knowledge of product or market including specific technical or industry knowledge; project management and interpersonal skills
- Skill in directing and coordinating the work of others; and in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with state employees and officials.
- Ability to cultivate a supportive and inclusive work environment for all employees.
- Ability to use superior communication skills, both oral and written, utilizing different communication styles; to present to diverse audiences, specifically racial, ethnical, socioeconomic, and disabled.
- Ability to consider the impacts of the work and perspectives of multiple communities in technical analysis and outcomes of a decision-making process.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- A bachelor's degree and three (3) years of experience in Management Information System (MIS), Computer Science, Public Health, Social Work, or a related field
- OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Job Responsibilities
- Under general direction, a Product Owner assists in developing and administering work related to technology products offered and consumed in the assigned portfolio. Responsibilities include:
- Support product manager with support, maintenance, and enhancement of products in assigned portfolio
- Assist in system administration (User access, configuration requests, new system/software development)
- Assist in user story requirements gathering and process mapping
- Perform validation testing of production releases, bug fixes, and feature requests.
- Provide technical support by troubleshooting and triaging technology-specific issues
- Front-end user support and training
- Act as non-project BA
- Other Duties as assigned
Preference may be given to applicants with:
- Experience with digital form development
- Experience with process-automation mapping and development
- Experience with a strong understanding of Meta data and data management
- Experience with business and technical process improvement, from simple to complex initiatives across multiple divisions/departments
- Experience with OnBase
