As a Product Manager, you will lead upstream product development and strategy from concept through launch by translating customer insights, market analysis, and unmet clinical needs into clear product direction and business justification. You will partner closely with R&D, Clinical, Regulatory, Quality, and Operations to define requirements, guide the innovation pipeline, and ensure product concepts are feasible and aligned with global pathways. You will act as the voice of the customer throughout development, shaping launch critical inputs and driving innovations that deliver strong clinical and economic value while improving patient outcomes and elevating standards of care.
This role requires onsite presence at least 4 days per week, at our Irvine, CA office, to support collaboration, team engagement, and business needs.
What You Will Do
- Lead upstream product strategy from concept development through handoff, ensuring alignment with growth objectives and portfolio priorities.
- Identify unmet clinical needs through structured voice-of-customer activities, including interviews, field observations, and advisory engagements.
- Conduct market, customer, and competitive assessments to inform product positioning, differentiation, and long-term roadmap decisions.
- Develop product requirements by defining user needs, value propositions, and target product profiles that guide design and development.
- Build business cases, including market sizing, pricing strategy, revenue forecasts, and investment justification to support pipeline decisions.
- Partner cross-functionally with R&D, Clinical, Regulatory, Quality, and Operations to translate customer insights into feasible product concepts.
- Support clinical strategy by defining claims, endpoints, and evidence requirements in collaboration with Clinical Affairs and Regulatory.
- Define launch readiness inputs for downstream marketing, including segmentation, targeting, positioning, and value messaging.
