Job purpose

  • Maximizes the growth of the assigned product within the country and the EMEA by developing and executing commercial and strategic action plans based on the local CVT and regional IBVT brand strategy and brand plans
  • Leads the cross-functional execution of dedicated projects and contributes to the CVT with local insights and recommendations
  • Contributes to the EMEA Functional Marketing Networks, representing the local interest and providing local insights
  • Ensures full compliance with J&J Credo and HCBI principles to preserve trust and reputation towards HCP and patients using the product
  • Manage a portfolio of products and contribute towards our ambition to become the most trusted partner in Oncology. 

Job responsibilities

  • Part of the EMEA Integrated Brand Value Team for the bi-specific antibodies in Multiple Myeloma, providing commercial strategic guidance and launch excellence for markets across EMEA
  • Active member of the Swiss CVT (cross-functional value team) and take on responsibilities linked to the implementation of JO.E (Janssen Omnichannel Engine) as a pilot in Switzerland and other key strategic initiatives across our portfolio in alignment with the BU Lead
  • Accountable for leading the development and execution of dedicated local commercial activities based on the brand plan to position the product in line with the CVT’s strategy and to achieve the committed business objectives (e.g. NTS) with the agreed resources (OOP budget)
  • Ensuring the deployment of dedicated commercial tactics in close coordination of the cross-functional teams
  • Leads local commercial projects, such as development and execution of campaigns, development of sales material, congress presences, market insight generation projects with an innovative Omnichannel approach
  • Supports the planning, monitors and tracks the performance, supports the forecasting of the respective brand.
  • Develops and manages partnerships with external key stakeholders to drive competitive advantage and Janssens‘ reputation
  • Contributes to the CVT by providing marketing expertise, deep local market insights, customer needs, competitor insights, by engaging local stakeholders, with development of local plans and by leading local commercial/marketing projects within the function and across functions
  • Contributes to the development of the overall training plan, and leads the development and execution of the commercial training elements
  • Supports the development of the local cross-functional business plan from a country perspective, leads the development of the local commercial plan, provides insightful input into local financial forecast
  • Contributes to the EMEA and the Mid-Sized-Markets (MSM) Marketing Functional networks (if applicable) by providing local market expertise, sharing best practices and representing the local interests
  • Accountable for full compliance of all projects and activities with laws and J&J regulations. Role models the Credo. Ensures continuity of supply.

Professional:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Life Sciences (BA/BSc or equivalent)
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience
  • Demonstrated record of accomplishments in pharmaceutical sales or marketing
  • Solid understanding of the Healthcare environment and pharmaceutical industry
  • Digital, Omnichannel experience seen as advantage
  • Capabilities to lead a cross-functional team
  • Project Management Skills
  • Fluency in German and English required, French considered an advantage
