The Opportunity:

The Product Manager is an integral member of our Oncology Marketing team and supports the successful commercialization of established products as well as the preparation of future launches.

Working closely with the Senior Product Manager and Senior Omnichannel Manager, the role contributes to the effective execution of strategic marketing and omnichannel initiatives by ensuring consistent and high-quality operational implementation in the market.

The Product Manager ensures that content, campaigns, and materials are operationally implemented, coordinated, and made available in close collaboration with all relevant functions.

A particular focus of the role is the operational support of omnichannel activities and ensuring the consistent execution of marketing initiatives in close collaboration with the Field Force.

The role reports to the Director, Customer Engagement, Germany and serves as a key enabler within the Oncology Marketing organization

Primary responsibilities of the (Junior) Product Manager, Germany are summarized below:

Operational Product & Marketing Support

  • Support the implementation of marketing strategies.

  • Contribute to the development, alignment, and operational execution of marketing and communication materials.

  • Support the analysis of market, customer, and competitor information to derive actionable measures.

  • Contribute to KPI tracking and the preparation of regular reports on product and campaign performance.

Launch & Pipeline Support

  • Provide operational support to the Senior Product Manager in the preparation and execution of pipeline assets.

  • Contribute to the development of launch materials, presentations, and enablement tools.

  • Support the coordination of cross-functional launch activities.

  • Contribute to operational launch readiness in close collaboration with Medical Affairs, Market Access, and Omnichannel.

Omnichannel & Cross-functional Support

  • Provide operational support to the Senior Omnichannel Manager in the implementation of integrated customer journeys.

  • Contribute to the creation, adaptation, and localization of content for different channels and target audiences.

  • Support alignment between Marketing, Medical Affairs, Market Access, and the Field Force (SOAMs and ABLs).

  • Ensure consistent operational execution of omnichannel activities in accordance with defined processes and guidelines.

  • Support a structured feedback loop between Field and Marketing organization.

European Alignment (Support Function)

  • Support alignment with European Marketing teams through data preparation, reporting, and operational coordination.

  • Contribute to the adaptation of European content for local implementation.

Business & Market Support

  • Support the analysis of market and performance data to provide operational decision support.

  • Contribute to the implementation of initiatives supporting the Field Force (SOAMs and ABLs).

  • Ensure the operational quality of marketing activities in accordance with defined processes and standards.

Required Skills, Experience and Education: 

A successful (Junior) Product Manager is characterized by a strong willingness to learn, a structured approach to work, and a strong focus on execution. The role offers the opportunity to continuously develop a strategic understanding of marketing within the pharmaceutical environment.

  • University degree in Natural Sciences, Medicine, Pharmacy, Business Administration, or a comparable field preferred.

  • Initial solid experience in a marketing, healthcare, or pharmaceutical environment.

  • Interest in Oncology and willingness to continuously develop knowledge of medical and commercial topics.

  • Proficiency in using digital tools and working with data is an advantage.

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong learning agility and a genuine interest in Oncology and pharmaceutical marketing.

  • Excellent organizational skills and a strong affinity for operational execution.

  • A high level of reliability as well as a structured and detail-oriented approach to work.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

  • A strong interest in omnichannel marketing and digital communication formats.

  • A willingness to gradually take on responsibility and develop intentionally toward a Senior Product Management role.

  • Experience working in cross-functional, international and/or European projects is an advantage.
