In this role you will work as a member of the Retail Product team with a focus on building and expanding Western Union currency exchange service across the world.
Role Responsibilities:

Define the product roadmap responsible for developing loved and delightful customer experience for Western Union’s Currency Exchange product.

Define product OKRs that will drive results in accordance with business objectives of growing retail customer acquisition, engagement and retention.

Work with regional business stakeholders to develop buy or build strategies by evaluating vendor and partner software, APIs and feature offering.

Work with regional legal and compliance stakeholders to understand local regulatory requirements and develop product features that ensure compliance with local requirements.

Partner with the customer experiences team as the currency exchange subject matter expert, creating high-quality, intuitive user experiences that deliver a best-in-class retail currency exchange experience.

Partner closely with business, engineers, operations, product marketing, sales and customer success, to ensure that what we build can scale across geographies with minimal effort and development needed.

Partner with regional go-to-market teams to define and drive product go-to-market strategy for all phases of product launch and commercialization.

Own and prioritize a roadmap to balance both exploring new product enhancements and existing product optimizations.

Manage, coach and collaborate with product owner in the development of detailed product requirements working with cross-functional teams (business, program managers, product, development, UX, engineering) for features and capabilities that help drive growth/retention.
Role Requirements:

A Computer’s degree and/or relevant experience of minimum 8 years of experience in product management with a focus on payments and alternate financial product in fintech, , although candidates with other relevant experience will be considered.

You have a proven track record of leading the development and implementation of successful product strategies with excellent cross-functional leadership skills and the ability to work effectively with teams in different locations.

You have experience doing vendor software integrations at large scale and multiple countries.

You are technically savvy and have the ability to interpret APIs specifications to develop intuitive front-end experiences.

You possess strong analytical skills and experience using data to drive decision-making and you use your excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate complex ideas to technical and non- technical stakeholders.

Organizational and project management skills with ability to break large tasks into smaller tasks that can be monitored and tracked.

Team player with ability to prioritize workload in line with tight deadlines and under pressure.

Salary
The on-target earnings range is $149,500 – $195,500 per year, which includes a base salary and short-term that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on candidates’ qualifications, skills, and competencies.
