The Team:

We are seeking a Product Manager that has specific broker dealer fixed income clearing experience and can take ownership of business requirements and see them through to completion. This candidate must have strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to write detailed business requirements and design documents as they relate to the specific needs of clearing capturing, clearing, and settling fixed income trades and communicating those needs to business and technology stakeholders.


You Will:

  • The ability to obtain a deep understanding of a prime brokerage clearing system and an expert level understanding of touchpoints between system components and downstream impacts of system changes.
  • Knowledge of DTC and Fed settlements as well experience in either building or product ownership of integrations with FICC (GSD, CMU, MBS) for Repo and Cash transactions
  • A passion for process improvement in the prime brokerage clearing space.
  • Ability to outline and train engineering staff for build out of platform.
  • Strong operations reconciliation experience (DTC, OCC, Sub Custodian, Cash, P&S, etc)
  • The ability to triage and / or troubleshoot production issues with a sense of urgency opportunity to join a small and growing team of good people, where you can make a difference.


Requirements:

  • At least ten (10) years of professional experience as a product manager, business analyst, project manager or program manager.
  • At least five (5) years of experience in fixed income clearing systems.
  • Familiarity with Instrument and account master reference data Middle office operations and / or trade support experience.
  • Knowledge of the full life cycle of a trade in a variety of products Familiarity with FIX protocol and swift messaging.
  • Expertise in Fixed Income trading (repo and cash), settlement, and clearing.
  • The ability to run basic to intermediate SQL queries.


The base salary range is $170,000 - $225,000. These ranges are representative of the starting base salaries for this role at Clear Street. Which range a candidate fits into and where a candidate falls in the range will be based on job related factors such as relevant experience, skills, and location. These ranges represent Base Salary only, which is just one element of Clear Street's total compensation. The ranges stated do not include other factors of total compensation such as bonuses or equity.
