Position Overview
This is a Product Management role reporting to Group Product Manager in the Growth Experience Technology (GET) which is part of Autodesk's COO organization.
The Data Products & Insights product domain's mission is to enable and empower key Autodesk functions such as Marketing, Customer Success, Finance, Sales, People & People experience through actionable insights, automation, self-service, and scalable data capabilities.
Autodesk is seeking a Data Product Manager with experience in enterprise data platforms or enterprise data and insights to join the Data Products & Insights product domain. This role will support and manage financial products as part of finance and management reporting.
Responsibilities
Drive the product vision and strategy for financial products to advance company-wide goals and strategic objectives
Partner closely with Engineering to lead execution and ensure delivery of roadmap commitments, owning outcomes and measurable business impact
Define, maintain, and publish rolling 12-month product roadmaps aligned with organizational priorities, focusing on high-impact problems that deliver meaningful value to Autodesk
Develop comprehensive Product Requirements Documents (PRDs), including clearly defined success metrics and outcomes
Define and own product OKRs, including measurement methodology, baselines, and quarterly targets, supported by a high-confidence roadmap to achieve committed business impact
Lead effectively through ambiguity by proactively identifying risks, developing mitigation strategies, managing dependencies, and guiding teams toward a clearly articulated product vision
Foster strong alignment and strategic partnerships through regular stakeholder interlocks, 1:1s, and best-practice stakeholder management
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of product management experience, including end-to-end ownership and delivery of products from conception through launch
3+ years of experience managing data platform products, including data processing, data warehousing, data ingestion, and API design
2+ years of product management experience within the finance domain (e.g., FP&A, Accounting, Treasury, Tax)
Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with senior engineering leaders while engaging deeply with complex technical concepts
Proven track record of delivering products in collaboration with cross-functional teams typical of enterprise software organizations (e.g., Engineering, Field Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Partnerships)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions based on product usage and performance metrics
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences, including engineers, executives, and customers
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience in software engineering
Good to Have:
Experience designing or improving processes and tools to enhance data productivity, data quality, and the automation or optimization of data workflows
Experience working with geographically distributed teams and remote work environments
Experience working with or delivering products that leverage Machine Learning models
