Job Description:
The Product Manager I, is responsible for managing the technology lifecycle of new products, features or enhancements from conceptualization, requirements gathering, product specification, implementation review and release.
- Drive the roadmap and direction of clinical solutions by defining the long- and short-term strategy.
- Partner with customers and stakeholders to identify cross-product dependencies.
- Perform research and analyze market conditions to identify key competitors, consumer trends, and opportunities for product innovation and enhancements.
- Partner with cross-functional teams and business partners to define business plans, strategy, and tactical work plans for integration.
- Manage products through launch phases and follow-up releases; contribute to quality assurance testing and assist team with providing triage support on identified defects and/or issues.
- Review and contribute to product specifications; prepare related documents and presentations to support the product release cycle.
- Review and contribute to pricing strategies, product policies, product bundles, and discounting methodologies.
- Act as the primary point of contact and coordinate with Development and QA resources to successfully build and release new products on time.
- Conduct focus groups and perform other need-based analysis activities.
- Translate market opportunities into requirements for viable solutions; validating those solutions by participating in Sprint ceremonies.
- Participate in required signoff approvals, user centered design activities, and user acceptance testing
- Assist account executives and account managers with client escalations and support.
- Assist business partners through the negotiation process related to third-party solutions.
Education Required:
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare, business, marketing, or a related field.
- Or, any combination of education and experience which would provide the required qualifications for the position.
Experience Required:
- 4+ years of experience in healthcare setting, preferably in practice management, clinical care, or in product management or business analysis.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Knowledge of: Technical acumen, software product lifecycle, and product management roadmap best practices.
- Skill in: Management, communication, collaboration, analytical, problem solving, strategic, technical expertise, data analytics and research, project management.
- Ability to: Ability to foster teamwork and build, maintain relationships.
