Job Description

The Product Manager (PM) for Display has product responsibility for the scope of the Agile Release Train (ART), clarifies the requirements with the customer and other stakeholders, maintains and breaks down the system requirements and derives Features. The Product Manager works with the development by acting as voice of the customer to the developers and as voice of development to the customer.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Interface with customer and all other stakeholders to understand their needs and to define/communicate the roadmap and releases
  • Interface with Product Owners (PO), Subcontractor Manager and Development Teams to transfer and clarify customer needs
  • Interface with Architects to sync on enabler work (ranked Program Backlog)
  • Assess feasibility of stakeholder requirements.
  • Define Feature based on requirements and architecture considering technical debt.
  • Estimate and rank the Feature (e.g. together with POs and teams in backlog refinement).
  • Collaborate with Solution Management in Pre-/Post PI Planning in order to align the ARTs of the Solution ahead of/after PI Plannings.
  • Create and maintain the roadmap and manage deviations.
  • Ensure quality with respect to the given Definition of Done on ART level.
  • Evaluate risks and impediments, define measures to eliminate deviations on ART level.
