  • DTCC offers a flexible/hybrid model of 3 days onsite and 2 days remote (onsite Tuesdays, Wednesdays and a third day unique to each team or employee).

The Impact you will have in this role:

The Director, Product Management – Corporate Actions is responsible for setting and executing the product strategy for DTCC’s Corporate Actions data services, with a primary mandate to accelerate subscription growth through rationalized product packaging, clear market positioning, and effective placement across the client ecosystem.

In parallel, this role is accountable for developing corporate actions distribution solutions that directly address long-standing inefficiencies in how corporate actions information is communicated, interpreted, and consumed across issuers, intermediaries, and end investors. The role sits at the intersection of data, market structure, and commercialization, and requires deep domain expertise, strong economic judgment, and the ability to lead through influence across a complex stakeholder environment.

Your Primary Responsibilities:

Product Strategy, Packaging & Commercial Growth

  • Own the end-to-end product strategy for Corporate Actions data services, with explicit accountability for subscription growth, product adoption, and portfolio coherence.
  • Rationalize the Corporate Actions product portfolio, including:
    • Defining clear product boundaries and value propositions
    • Reducing overlap and fragmentation across offerings
    • Designing modular, scalable packaging that aligns with distinct client segments and willingness to pay
  • Establish clear positioning for each Corporate Actions offering within the broader DTCC Data Services portfolio to improve discoverability, differentiation, and cross-sell effectiveness.
  • Partner closely with Commercial, Client Success, and Sales teams to ensure products are packaged, priced, and articulated in ways that support repeatable sales motions and sustainable revenue growth.

Corporate Actions Distribution Solutions & Ecosystem Efficiency

  • Lead the development of next-generation Corporate Actions distribution solutions that address structural inefficiencies in today’s corporate actions communications landscape.
  • Identify and prioritize opportunities to reduce ambiguity, latency, and reconciliation burden caused by fragmented announcements, interpretations, and downstream messaging.
  • Translate ecosystem pain points—across issuers, agents, custodians, brokers, asset managers, and data vendors—into coherent product strategies and platform capabilities.
  • Shape solutions that improve consistency, timeliness, and trust in corporate actions data across the lifecycle, while remaining commercially viable and scalable.

Product Development & Lifecycle Leadership

  • Own the full product lifecycle for assigned Corporate Actions products, from concept and market validation through delivery, launch, and ongoing enhancement.
  • Define product roadmaps grounded in client needs, market structure realities, and measurable commercial outcomes.
  • Establish success metrics tied to adoption, usage, retention, and revenue contribution.
  • Work closely with Technology, Operations, Legal, Risk, and Compliance partners to ensure products are usable, resilient, and aligned with DTCC’s risk and governance standards.

Market Insight & Thought Leadership

  • Act as a subject matter expert on Corporate Actions market structure, data flows, and client workflows, representing the “voice of the client” internally.
  • Monitor market trends, client behavior, regulatory developments, and competitive offerings to inform product strategy and investment priorities.
  • Provide clear, evidence-based perspectives to senior stakeholders on where DTCC can uniquely reduce friction and create value in Corporate Actions distribution.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in product management, data services, financial market infrastructure, or related domains.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Talents Needed for Success:

  • Deep knowledge of Corporate Actions, post-trade processing, or securities lifecycle data, including familiarity with issuer, custodian, and asset manager workflows.
  • Demonstrated success in designing and commercializing data or platform products, including experience with product packaging, pricing, and positioning.
  • Proven ability to operate in complex, multi-stakeholder environments and lead through influence rather than direct authority.
  • Strong analytical and economic judgment, with the ability to connect market structure problems to commercially viable product solutions.
