About the opportunity

This is a fantastic opportunity to take the lead on shaping the deployment tools Dialpad provides to delight our enterprise customers, our partners and even our own Professional Services teams. At Dialpad, product managers can operate like CEOs in their respective product areas. That means building relationships throughout the organization to lead with vision, strategy and influence to have the highest impact in delivering value to customers. 

Take ownership of a product already loved by many customers and exponentially increase the adoption. It will require a focus on details in order to ruthlessly prioritize efforts for impactful “can’t live without” features that deliver delightful Admin and User experiences.

Your role

As a Product Manager, you’ll primarily work with engineers and designers to plan, design, build and launch new product capabilities. Your product leadership will require a clear understanding of the market opportunity, critical thinking with data-driven decisions with exceptional communication skills.
This position reports to our Sr. Director of Product Management over our Collaboration (UCaaS) line of business. This position is to be based in our Bangalore, India Office.

What you’ll do

  • Develop partnerships – Develop and own ongoing relationships primarily with our Professional Services team to gain clear insights and understanding of the challenges they face day to day.
  • Know your customer – Research, analyze data, and talk to your customer. Be the biggest advocate for your user’s needs.
  • Lead the charge – organize, align and provide clarity across multiple teams to deliver business value.
  • Drive a strategic vision – become an expert in your area in order to create a compelling strategy for success.
  • Manage complexity – Manage requirements documentation and maintain the details of multiple complex projects without losing focus of the big picture.

Skills you’ll bring

  • 5+ years experience in product management in a SaaS company.
  • Experience with deployment or implementation preferred.
  • Strong communication & presentation skills.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to evolve product strategy based on research, data, and industry trends.
  • Nimble and flexible with regard to changing priorities & business needs. Startup experience is a plus.
  • BS/BA in Engineering or similar field is a plus.
