You will play an instrumental part in owning the technical functionality of the initiative, leading data architects and engineers to drive the overall RGM solution while collaborating with business teams and stakeholders.
WHAT THIS TEAM AND ROLE DOES
Our team is at the forefront of driving AI, data, and analytics across Mondelez. As a Product Manager within the Mondelez Data & Analytics team, you will oversee the team as they work towards the following objectives:

  • Build tech-enabled AI software that enhances key RGM levers and provides automated recommendations.
  • Develop simulation and optimization capabilities using AI to determine pricing, product mix, and promotion strategy.
  • Implement the new RGM solution across our customer base to maximize joined growth.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Utilize market and industry knowledge to translate user needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, and requirements for their team. Maintain a prioritized backlog, staying multiple sprints ahead of the team.
  • Oversee the day-to-day technical development of the solution, creating strong alignment in the working team to achieve goals.
  • Define critical metrics that determine the success of your products and develop a deep understanding of your product's performance.
  • Validate the weekly progress of the technical teams and lead business user tests, ensuring product quality before the product gets into the hands of the internal customer.
  • Set detailed planning per initiative and help resolve any arising bottlenecks.
  • Lead iterative testing phases of the RGM solution, incorporating feedback and ensuring continuous learning for solution enhancement.
  • Integrate usability studies and research into product requirements to enhance user satisfaction and ensure customer-driven design.


More about this role

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems/Technology, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of Product Development experience (acting as Product Owner) or 3+ years working in CPG RGM (Pricing, promotion, PPA, trade management); having made strategic pricing and promo decisions for brands is preferred.
  • Able to thrive in uncertainty and comfortable with a high degree of ownership and bias for action.
  • Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and experience working closely with engineering teams.
  • Strong technical proficiency/quantitative background delivering data and analytics projects.
  • Deep knowledge of AI/data principles (e.g., ML algorithm selection, data architecture principles, familiarity with cloud technologies, etc.).
  • Experience in setting up and monitoring AI models in production.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies (e.g., ceremonies, writing user stories).


GOOD TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES

  • Master's degree or higher in a relevant field, such as Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or Machine Learning.
  • Experience delivering transformational projects with solid change management requirements.
  • Certifications in project management, such as PMP or Scrum Master.
  • Working knowledge of syndicated data (Nielsen/IRI or other EPOS/Retail Sales data source; Kantar/GFK or another household panel source)
  • Knowledge of SQL and programming languages (e.g., Python).
  • Familiarity with privacy regulations and best practices in data management, especially in the context of AI solutions.
  • Passion for technology and wanting to stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies.


The anticipated base salary range for this position is $114,500 to 171,800; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. The salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results and is eligible to participate in the Company's annual equity program. Company offers a variety of benefits to eligible employees, including health insurance coverage, wellness and family support programs, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plans, paid leave programs, education-related programs, paid holidays and vacation time, and several others. Many of these benefits are subsidized or fully paid for by the company.
