We are seeking a Product Manager to help deliver Futu's global corporate action platform. As a product expert, you will be responsible for delivery on a transformative initiative to consolidate mandatory and voluntary corporate actions processing across securities markets, including the US, HK, JP, etc. Aside from working with our development and quality assurance teams, you will also collaborate with our international offices in translating operational and compliance needs into product features.

Key Responsibilities

  • Platform Delivery: Design, develop and delivery a standardized end-to-end mandatory and voluntary corporate actions processing workflow (including event capture, client instruction, election, and settlement).
  • Operational Transformation: Collaborate with regional securities centres in on-boarding settlement workflows onto Futu's global corporate action platform. Lead and assess localization requirements against global standardized workflow.
  • Data Mapping: Analyze corporate actions events and interfaces across different counterparties, including custodians, market data vendors, and clearing houses. Perform cross-market data mapping for integration into consolidated data model.
  • Cross-functional Execution: Collaborate with development, quality assurance, securities operations, middle office, and compliance teams in driving implementation against overall platform roadmap.

Requirements
  • Industry Experience: 4+ years of product management, business analysis, and/or system development experience in developing corporate actions, custodian, or clearing and settlement systems. Equivalent operational experience in clearing and settlement domains is also accepted.
  • Domain Expertise: Familiarity with different corporate actions event types, election workflows, and processing standards across different securities markets.
  • Market Knowledge: Solid understanding of securities/derivatives markets, and the operational impact from corporate actions settlement.
  • Technical Knowhow: Demontrated ability translating operational painpoints into functional solution and technical implementation. Experience with all stages of a product development or software development lifecycle.
  • Communication: Fluent in English and Mandarin, with experience collaborating with international offices and employees with diverse backgrounds.

Additional Preferences

  • Understanding of SWIFT / ISO 20022 corporate actions messaging standards.
  • Understanding of Corporate Action and Post-Trade solutions from industry leaders.
  • Experience with global custodians, such as DTCC, Clearstream, or Euroclear is a plus.
  • Strong technical background, such as SQL, data types, and data quality rules is a plus.
  • Securities license such as FINRA Series 7 or SFC Type 1 is a plus.
  • Interest in leveraging emerging technologies (e.g., AI, Big Data) to drive innovative optimization solutions.
